The problem is actually two problems, both are huge, both are ridiculous and both are either cause and or allowed by the federal government: 1. Cutting funding to higher education - this has been policy for the past 5 administrations and seems like a thing in common between the liberal idiots and the conservative idiots. This makes these institutes incentivized to use international students to subsidize Canadian education and their own expansions. 2. The government letting immigration go through such a process. It’s crazy that people who go through this system cannot be vetted more properly.

You know, we in the US used to resent Canada because they seemed kinder and more generous. We were jealous of that. Americans seemed harsher and greedy. Now I feel very sorry for Canadians. See that the grass is greener over here with more opportunities and can make 10x more than people over there and can send the money back so their family gets a good amount back. Immigration is a privilege, NOT a right !! WHY do these people seem to have so many rights. People who want to immigrate to Canada need to be vetted and bring something of substance to the country. This is the fault of Canadians. The whole concept of Multiculturalism is a façade. What the hell did you all think would happen when you bring a bunch of people to the country but tell them they can hold on to their own beliefs and cultures? I'm sure the reason why the concept seemed like a good idea because you thought it was a way to keep immigrants out of White Canadian spaces. As a proud Canadian I am so very done with these immigrants literally bombarding and overwhelming our beautiful country. We, Canadians need to come together. Unite. Deny all immigrants. I have never understood why these immigrants all of a sudden bombarded our small towns and cities like swarms of rodents or insects and expect to be welcomed with open arms. It seemed like it happened overnight! I remember seeing a few immigrants wearing their traditional towel wrap things on their heads in a mall one day and I was okay with it. Figured they were tourists or something and then BAM there are THOUSANDS of them moving in our towns and act like they own the place. Trying to intimidate US! In our OWN COUNTRY! It really angers me from within but at the same time I don’t want to come off as a racist or a hater or wtv. All the recent Indian immigrants interviewed seem to be very kind, hardworking people who are just trying to create a better life for their families. Then I read the comment section and it's just a bunch of people spewing vitriol towards Indian immigrants. "Canada isn't supposed to look like India". What the hell is Canada supposed to look like, to me it just looks like America, what "Canadian national identity" do you really have?

If they work, file their taxes, don't siphon the system and talk to me in English then I do not care what they do in their own time. On the contrary, I wish them the best. Those who do not contribute to society and merely leech off of it are the true dregs. That applies the same to a white man with needles harassing people under a bridge and a black man in a hoodie and mask robbing a convenience store (non-Indian stereotypes) as it does to any immigrant who hops the border and expects this country to fund their way. That said, there have been far too many immigrants in the last decade, regardless of origin. I've lived in my small town in BC for 37 years and somehow I cannot get a family doctor (I visit all of the local clinics annually and am on the provincial waiting list) while a lot of newer residents seem to have a doctor within months of moving here. I am glad I bought my house when I did, I would not be able to afford one today. I am not against legal immigration, just slow it down so the infrastructure can support it and properly vet those who apply. The system for deportment currently employed in the US is far too hastened and imperfect for my liking but the lack-of-a-system (or heck, acknowledgement) that this is even an issue by the current and previous Canadian governments is equally as concerning (arguably more, other folks can debate the politics of it).

The Indians honestly seem like pleasant people. Yeah, they are huge in number and mass migrate, but seems like the whites are just hating for no reason

The older whites in Brampton seem to be blaming others because they failed in life. Anyone in Brampton knows a lot of the whites are on drugs in the downtown area. People started getting annoyed about Brampton when the international student boom happened. This is different from families settling or people starting families. Young students who are basically poor and desperate take up all the jobs and they pack so much into one house. Indian international students have ruined Indian reputation in Canada. Indians figured how to game the system and flood Canada better than other nationalities. And it’s true they do not integrate. They leave their land and come to a place where it’s just like home. Where they can live work, and go to school and not interact with any other race, ethnicity probably can go weeks without speaking English. Chinese have similar places like this but they’re not frowned upon.

Mentally speaking, most Indians seem like calm (neutral) people. I never had any problems with them. Most of my problems were with many refugees from the MENA regions.

Who does the background checks on people immigrating to Canada. Some of the seem like insurrectionists . Almost like India gathered a lot of their criminal population and sent them here. This is going to sound super cruel but in American its just as bad, over the last 8 years over 30 family owned businesses or small restaurants have been taken over and bought out by Indian people in my area alone, the food quality dips, quality in general dips, they're rude, they get mad if THEY mess up at you which is super disrespectful. I come from a Hispanic culture do be respectful to other human beings if you enter another person's country. The thing that never seems to be brought up is East Indians 80% own houses. They come here and they own houses and have businesses that they ONLY hire East Indians, have East Indian clientele ONLY because they all pay cash so they can circumvent the taxes.
