hey only the fkn stupid get laughed who listen to this bullshit - fact check what you read from these idiots 1. You can enter Canada with "One Click" and no security screening. FALSE. While the "One-Touch" digital system exists to speed up paperwork, every asylum seeker must still provide biometrics (fingerprints) and undergo a security/background check against global law enforcement databases upon arrival. 2. Denied claimants keep their health benefits. TRUE (But temporary). Benefits continue as long as the legal process is active. Because Canada allows for appeals and judicial reviews, a person whose claim is initially "denied" by the board is still considered to be "in the process" and keeps coverage until all legal appeals are exhausted. 3. There are 500,000 "lost" people due for deportation. FALSE. This number is a massive inflation. It likely refers to a total estimate of all people in Canada with expired visas (including students and workers). The number of people specifically "wanted" for deportation after a failed refugee claim is estimated to be closer to 30,000–50,000. 4. Refugees get dental and vision care that some Canadians don't. TRUE. The federal IFHP program does cover basic dental and vision for claimants because they aren't eligible for provincial health cards yet. Many Canadians only get these benefits through private insurance or specific low-income programs, though the new Canadian Dental Care Plan is currently closing that gap for seniors and children. 5. 10,000 people "vanish" from the system annually. UNVERIFIED. This was a specific estimate given by a union head during testimony. While the government tracks "abandoned claims," they don't officially classify them all as "vanished," as many are eventually located or leave the country voluntarily.

O…M…G…! I did not realize, until I read these comments, how many nincompoops we also have in Canada! 1) we are ALL IMMIGRANTS with the First Nations being here first.* * since "time immemorial," a concept referring to First Nations presence on the land long before recorded history. Archeological and genetic evidence suggests migration from northeastern Asia, likely via the Bering Strait, with research pointing to human arrival 30,000 years ago or even earlier. 2) we have welcomed immigrants to settle our lands since more inhabitants equals more revenues for infrastructure. Yes, restructuring of the process is a good idea. 3) Poilievre is a thin skinned man of the pointy finger and blame game with little to offer in actual plans or programs. He plays to people’s gripes, whining, and general b*tch*ness. He IS very similar to the blow-hart down south although more literate. 4) There is no possible way he, especially being of like behaviour, could deal with The Felon. He is NOT a negotiator. He is not calm; he’s bombastic. He’s waaaaaaaay to the right, and will trample equal rights for women, and other valued communities. He has no interest in listening to other positions, views, or suggestions. His way or the highway. Again like the Fascist down south. 4) Our provincial leaders (except a few traitors to Canada’s sovereignty) are behind the extremely difficult work Carney is doing for our country. 67% of Canadians are cheering him on, including the Conservative playground scrapper, Doug Ford, plus Stephen Harper. So, put your bile on hold and support the positive. We’re in a really difficult, daily changing, coming at us from all sides, battle with the POS south of us. Carney is giving it his all. Can’t imagine he gets much sleep. How ‘bout break with the party-love, and have some respect for someone working so hard. Fighting for YOU! ❤️🇨🇦❤️

More BS from a supposedly neutral balanced media outlet. At least when the CBC have a panel they have one from each party. Here are the facts. The Honourable Lena Metlege Diab is the current Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship. She was appointed to the role in May 2025 by Prime Minister Mark Carney following the April 2025 federal election. Her current activity is defined by a shift toward more restrictive and "talent-focused" policies. Here is the technical breakdown of her recent initiatives: 1. 2026 Express Entry Overhaul On February 18, 2026, Diab announced significant adjustments to the Express Entry system. The primary objective is to transition from broad intake to "sustainable levels" while addressing specific labor gaps. * New Categories: Streams were added for researchers, senior managers, transport occupations (pilots/mechanics), and foreign military personnel recruited by the Canadian Armed Forces. * Medical Priority: A specific category was introduced for foreign medical doctors already possessing Canadian work experience. * Tightened Requirements: She doubled the category-specific work experience requirement from 6 months to 12 months. This move is designed to narrow the candidate pool and prioritize those with deeper integration into the Canadian labor market. 2. Legislative Reform (Bill C-12) Diab is currently championing a major immigration and border security bill (C-12), which is moving through its third reading in the Senate as of February 26, 2026. * Executive Power: The bill grants the Governor in Council (acting on cabinet advice) broad authority to vary, cancel, or suspend immigration documents and applications in the "public interest." * Asylum Restrictions: Diab has been vocal about curbing what she terms "fraudulent" claims. The legislation proposes making anyone who has been in Canada for over a year ineligible to claim asylum, and it restricts claims from those entering via land borders outside official ports of entry. 3. Shift in Strategy The Minister’s rhetoric marks a pivot from previous Liberal administrations. Her current messaging focuses on "taking back control" of immigration levels. While she continues to promote the recruitment of "the best and brightest," she has explicitly stated the government's goal is to reduce the total annual number of both permanent and temporary residents. Summary Table | Focus Area | Recent Action | |---|---| | Express Entry | Increased experience threshold to 12 months; added military/researcher streams. | | Asylum Policy | Supporting Bill C-12 to restrict claims made after 1 year of residency. | | Staffing | Recently appointed Isaac MacDonald (former P.E.I. Liberal executive) as Director of Parliamentary Affairs.

Please pin this comment Tyler, please go back and do a whole series about the Trucking Scandal 1. Please search the tragic Humboldt crash. The driver failed to read a stop sign 2. You actually ended up speaking with a possible "mule" who again is there "temporarily" 3. Please look up the free documentary CBC put out in regards to the E Indian community "handing out" commercial driving licenses 4. Please search all the recent arrests inbound and outbound Detroit and Port Huron borders. 98% east Indian and the names are always written in the articles. These are facts 5. The "mules" get a slap on the wrist for the contraband and end up getting deported 6. The company starts the process again and claims they know nothing 7. Their company owners all drive exotic vehicles and fancy homes Please look into this, it's been happening for years and years

As a Canadian born citizen and somebody who lives only about 30 minutes from Brampton I can truly say that no Canadian is racist we're not anti-immigration anti-immigration that's not what this is the issue that Canadians currently have is that the people who come here from other countries don't adapt to our way of life and learn our culture and our values and that doesn't mean that you have to stop practicing your values or your religion all Canadians are asking for is respect for how we live in this country end the other biggest thing to that is to me extremely disrespectful if you've been here for more than three years you should be able to speak English like a Canadian and everything should be able to understand you and if you can't do that then that is just flat out disrespectful and rude because if I came to your country and after 3 years I still didn't speak your language or spoke it very poorly you would think the same thing you'd find it extremely rude so do any immigrants reading this understand we have no issue with you guys being here just adopt to our way of life our way of life and learn how to speak English

Thank you for the video. I just took my test Jan 19/2026 got 19/20 on my first attempt. I read 2 chapters of discover Canada, found it was hard to follow and watched this video 3 times instead. I took notes and read all the explanation with each questions. Wrote down the events according to timeline really helped. This video gave me a really solid foundation, but still had maybe 4-5 questions that wasn’t part of these questions.
