No one really talks to me at work because I'm usually the only English speaking Canadian. Thankfully I found atleast this part time job that treat me great. But 28-31 hrs a week really doesn't do shit with a kid let alone if I was just myself

Khalistan (for people unfamiliar) is an ISIS backed separatist movement/mindset which breeds terrorism. Trust me, there ain't no discrimination with Sikhs in India on basis of ANYTHING. Period. And no, not even single ONE of these brainwashed people are gonna be leaving Canada even if hypothetically there was a Khalistan created lmao. That's the factual truth. Aside from that info, there was a really great video by some Canadian creator only which explained how the influx of Indian descent people are the wrongdoings of Ca's current govt. policies.

Brampton is great, Indian/pakistani community is wonderful. You really shouldn't platform hate without checks and balances, makes it seem like you support them. That polish guy just sounds like a hater.

I grew up in Brampton. When I was going it was really multicultural, I lived in a Portuguese neighborhood. There were many different ethnic neighborhoods, it was a melting pot of cultures. I had friends of all races and I got to learn about their cultures. It would have been the perfect place to raise kids.It's not multicultural anymore it's just Indians, it's filthy there, crime has skyrocketed and housing prices is insane. You also can't rent apartments as all the landlords will only take Indian tenants under the guise of "vegetarians only". It's a shame, it used to be a great place to live.

Clear your minds, wipe your mental slates clean, because as nice as it is to clutch our pearls and tsk-tsk about what this gov is doing, they're not listening to one word of what we're saying. Not ... one ... word. Their agenda isn't affected by your little concerns about the economy or jobs or immigration or how much youre struggling. With complete respect to all of you, do you think you change anything in this commentary? Youre all great, but we're in a paradigm rut on how to view this government and frankly, all governments. Perhaps we should all personally step back for a period and examine exactly what it is we're doing and start looking for solid, out-of-the-box solutions, because using 19th century political tools for affecting change just doesn't work anymore. Finally, this might be hard to wrap our heads around, but we are all part of the problem in some way. If you have the faculty to do so, ask yourself if you work for or support entities that ultimately support the very system oppressing you. Be smarter out there, everyone.

I’m gonna comment here with a lil rant and I’m Indian woman, and I know my comment here would probably invite a lot of racist remarks . I am working very hard in my country to be a doctor and I wanna leave my country (because no opportunities ) and move to a better and a safer country where I’m respected as a woman , which my country fails to . Now , I have to give a lot of exams and fill up a lot of visa requirements to be in any better country and I’m absolutely fine with it . But I’m not fine with the fact that countries like Canada , Australia , uk etc are immigrating people from India who are not educated , don’t wanna assimilate, with very eased up visa requirements, easy pr facilities because these countries want cheap labor and when these bottom of barrel uneducated folks move to another country they do shady businesses , start making huge communities of similar people having similar views and this leads to chaos and a backlash , racism on a particular ethnicity, stereotypes and so and so . I’m not saying my people aren’t flawed , they are but why the government is so easy in immigrating uneducated uncouth people from 3rd world countries where even these people wouldn’t be hired in some great companies or give anything great to build a valuable society , why people who are talented and literally would assimilate, has respect , is educated literally would bring a change for better is sidelined or toughened up their immigration process ? I might come off as very rude and jealous by my comment and actually im kinda jealous but I really wanna know and I observed this pattern a lot . All educated people wanting to move out are struggling while these kinda are just migrating so so easily and most even have permanent residencies WHAT ???

I was born and raised here. I've given birth to 6 children whom all have issues finding employment. Because all the jobs are taken every convenience store every timorhorns, every Taco Bell, every Burger King. Is taken their jobs and giving them to newcomers. I'm not against people coming over to our beautiful land and enjoying and contributing. Insane that? You've Come to us kindly respect us. Don't take Uber the way it is going right now. We are gonna be the minority and what's gonna happen 50 years down the road? Our great grandkids are gonna be going after the government. Looking for a handout because our government has given away all of our jobs. They've given away our security. I will our elderly need to work until almost the day they go in the ground, so many homeless families. Some of it. Is self situitional some of it? Is because, for a simple 3 bedroom. There's 2 grand add your hydro. Add, your heat. Winter is coming like one of the ladies in the video. Says I haven't had cable or satellite and probably 20 years. I make minimum wage working 40 hours a week. I have rent. I have a car payment. I have insurance and a warm more time. As she said, there's nothing left over. Where is our? Where is our Pat? On the back our gratitude, I am a people person. It doesn't matter color shape sighs. I love everybody as an individual but I like understanding when they're talking to me too. I don't know if this is gonna do any good. I really don't and I'm not trying to sound rude or racist cause. I am not it's just one lonely. Worker's outlook on the world and how Canada has become. The only reason you can use the term Immigrant is because the govt issued visas. But that being said the govt fast tracked the usual immigrant process which takes months to years. So in actuality this is not legitimate immigrants. It's unlawful what the govt has done and therefore these people are immigrants under cover of law. Or color of law. It's defacto. I call them illegal migrants. Most are not doctors or engineers or trades people even. Most are young men from 19 to their 30's. According to Investigative Journalist Joshua Philipp of the Epoch Times, Through visiting Darian gap, he found UN tents helping illegal migrants to get to the US. But they had to pass through cartel territory. They had to pay the cartels a fee or die or be raped or both. Yes it's brutal some things but apparently before Obama left office he signed an international agreement to import people globally from mostly Islamic countries and create open borders. We see Chinese, and many people from different parts of South America and even Africa crossing to the US. A lot of whom end up in Canada. So before they cross into the US they toss their IDs Especially if they are from countries that are flagged by the US as questionable or terrorist possibilities. So this leads to a lot coming to Canada. I'm sure you heard of Roxham Rd crossing? It's officially closed but people still cross into Canada from the US going through there. There's also piles of IDs at that border crossing also. Anyways these open border policies has cut out in depth screening so we really don't know who is in Canada as true asylum seekers or immigrants. To add to this complexity, over 300,000 Canadian travel documents have been stolen from CBSA Canadian Border Services Agency. 280,000 of those were blank Canadian passports. SO we really don't know who's walking on Canadian soil. This was confirmed by Luc Sabourin a former CBSA agent. Honestly, they are great people and I think they bring a lot of culture and family orientation back to Canada I feel like it’s roots. I mean, we are the first generation with cell phones so things aren’t gonna go well for the first generation so I hope to see change in the next, but I really hate the racism. Because at the end of the day, this world belongs to all of us. I’m married to a Punjab. And I’m very thankful I met him feel like a lot of Canadian men. Have become victims to the red pill ideology or cell phones are really just becoming a part of their ideologies. Indian families bring back real love and authenticity. My only problem is the criminals that are coming into the country that are hurting people when we already have enough problems in our own country.

I am a newly arriving immigrant Indian. Been a year now and I have a good job and I am really loving what Canada has to offer. I agree with the frustration - I find myself cringing at the videos of people violating public norms of decency, and the job market is really bad now for services as companies are employing a lot of migrants for a cheaper price. Immigration control, regulation of companies so they cant go below a %age of Canadian citizen/residents along with effective government stimuli to boost the economy by targetting certain industries will tackle a lot of the problems. As for people discarding garbage anywhere and other unwanted behavior - name and shame. These videos are also going public at least in India as a source of great shame and the more eyes on it, the less people will repeat things of this nature.

I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term. Because my ethnicity is Indian, I've become an object of collective resentment / hatred, and I don't think that's fair.. Please direct it at your vote, and govt level policies. Why should I (and other's like me) be crucified with the sins of other immigrants? It's like hating all your neighbors in a burning building, when the management has been lighting the fire.

Here's the root of most of the problems, its gov. policy, you take in a million new people a year, give them everything and your dollar ends up losing value, so even though your working hard, you cannot get ahead in this country. So you end up going into a debt that you can't pay off and the problems increase. Taxes go up value of the dollar keeps going down, so in the end its a no win situation for most of the general population and its the same when you retire, you get an income that's not enough even to pay for rent in the city you were brought up in. This is a very serious problem and gov. does not seem to do anything about it, food banks are overwhelmed along with medical staff, food prices and rents have gone out of sight as far as prices are concerned. We have a national debt that never gets paid and a gov. that spends more money than it takes in in taxes. And a dollar thats going to H in a handbasket. Too much crime, too much violence, too many traffic jams and too much drug use. I have written to this liberal gov. and told them how to fix these problems but they don't listen, their agenda is with the WEF, you will have nothing and you will be happy, right, no. Canada is now a bankrupt country and going to a third world status, I guess you get what you vote for and I did not vote for this gov. to ruin the country. Hey note that this is just the start, its going to get a whole lot worse down the road as we all suffer another great depression, then things really get bad.

I came here 25 years ago from India. While growing up, I would go to the terrace of my home and turn the antenna to get Cbc at night. I watched Air Farce One, the green show, NFB and Cbc and was always fascinated with Canada. I knew then when I was 20 that I will make Canada home. I wrote my IELTS ENGLISH test, studied here with good grades. And I did. I have an amazing career and young kids. And I have loved everyday of it. I have watched rerun of trailer park boys about 10 or so times already, watched Corner gas, watch hockey, I have embraced the weather, the people and the values this nation stands for. I have travelled coast to coast and to the great north. Heck I have been to more places in Canada with my job than other Canadians who are born and raised here. Now all I see there these ignorant, entitled effs thinking they can come and change the way of life. Like how Don Cherry said, they want the milk and honey but won't respect the values. I am effing done with this immigration and the government. Steven Harper was the prime minister when I got my citizenship and it was the proudest moment of my life. I really hope Canadians wake up. I know exactly why the racism has gone up and I don't blame the Canadians at all. These clowns bought it on to themselves. I just had enough and wish things would back to how it was 20 or so years ago.
