How can Canadians be suffering so much and vote the people who did it to them right back in office? There is a disconnect between government policy and quality of life in the minds of Canadians. Also, it appears anti-Americanism and Trump hatred is more important than their quality of life.

1) Canadian politicians are running a Ponzi scheme - just keep bringing in more foreigners to pay for everybody else they already brought in 2) This immigration game was started after DeGaulle sparked Quebec separatism, and neither Ottawa nor Washington knew how to deal with this, other than to mass-import lots of foreigners in order to dilute the Anglo-French divide that was quickly turning toxic.
