how is filing a fake refugee claim isn't criminal in and of itself? explain that to me why are ya'll always giving everyone the benefit of the doubt

If an individual has been found to have a bogus claim, then deport them. If Visas have expired then then they should not be allowed to claim asylum and they should be deported. Non citizens who have been criminally charged should be deported. The process is in place, it just needs to be adhered to.

Local shop I used to work in has been bought up by them a few years ago...I noticed they hire a new guy from Chennai every few months and then previous worker moves to london. They're using the shop to get their mates into the country by giving them jobs until they can claim residency. Been about 5 new guys come and go. Before them the shop gave me and others from my small town an income and we were all great friends. It's a shame.

East Coast Canadian here. Thankfully the non existent provinces beyond eastern Quebec are thankful it's not as bad here. The majority of TimHorton's & Wendy's employees are flown into the Charlottetown airport, housed & trained on site & then spreadout across the country from there. The Government is paying the majority of their minimum wage and business owners pay pennies for them! They will also work more hours than others. Our own people are being ignored when they apply for jobs so that its not considered discrimination. They can easily claim the immigrants applied first.

I'm a born and raised Canadian, as well as my husband. Even before our country was completely taken over, employment was hard to come by because of the fw's. 8 years ago, my husband had enough with trying to find a job, he stopped counting at over 450 resumes that were ignored, so he decided that we should start our own company, a small delivery company that 2 years later, we added a safe ride service to (driving drunk people home in their own vehicle). I was the manager of a little pizza place, which was run by immigrants, but good ones. I was hired because my husband approached them about doing deliveries, and they wanted to meet me. I had no idea I was going for an interview but they begged me to work for them, their reason; although they could speak English, they weren't fluent in it, so they wanted an English speaking employee who could easily understand the customer's. Within days, I was promoted to manager, and I loved my job and all of them. They treated everyone with such kindness and generosity. I found out just how much support they got from our government, when I broke down one day because I couldn't afford my prescription. My boss was so confused because he and his family got free prescriptions, dental, eye care, etc and they thought everyone got that. My boss paid for my prescription and actually apologized to me for how our own government treated us. He also showed me that they get $2,500 every 2 weeks, funding to start or buy businesses, but if they don't hire other fw's or immigrants, that funding changes to a grant and they have to pay it back. They are given money for housing, and vehicles. He was pushed out of that business by his 2 partners, and the partner's promised him I would keep my job. That was a complete lie. They stopped putting me on the schedule, claiming financial problems (bs), but hired not one but two new full time immigrant employees. I lost it and quit. Our town isn't that big, and word spread fast, especially when everyone found out that I was still owed over $2,000, which I will never see because no government agency will help me. Their business is actually struggling now and I love that for them. As for my husband and I's business, it's going strong but I came unglued when we recieved a letter from the government "suggesting" that we hire immigrants. I wrote back, telling them in no uncertain terms would that ever happen, and it will be a cold day in hell when one of us steps back so one of the government's favored people can take that money from us because we are the only 2 employees and we're not sacrificing a damn thing for someone who already gets everything.

I worked with a lot of refugees and asylum seekers. They are generally allowed to work hwhilst waiting on their claim to be processed. My experience was they are very hard working, smart and ambitious. Not settling for just collecting welfare or hwhat-not. They are net contributors to Canadian society. Fortunately, the ones I knew had their claims approved. But hwhat if they didn't? hWhat if they lied/exaggerated about the persecution back home. They're still productive members of society. hWhy send em back? Better yet: Don't make em lie in the first place! Let them live and work here indefinitely just because they want to.

When your claim is rejected then you should not go back out the front door but rather you're taken out the back door to a bus that takes you to a waiting plane to your home country. Appeal from there

We are in the middle of a huge immigration wave initiated by the socialist Labor government that is overwhelming infrastructure, housing supply & affordability and healthcare services. Driving standards have also decreased markedly and at the same time vehicle accident rates have risen exponentially, along with a steep and sustained increase in car insurance premiums in the time since this current immigration wave began after Covid due to increased accident rates and fraudulent insurance claims. Indians make up the second largest group of these new immigrants.

There are two parts to this story and it's truth. There are people that came to Canada for a true life but there are many more that came to Canada because there is a system. Most people don't even know, unless you listen to the many that are in shelters and on social media, most have been told that Canada is a country which will pay you and cover all your housing. It's the code on how to take advantage of a countries blindness by abusing it's Government financial Immigration and Refugee programs. 1. Make a claim, any claim as it will take years before Canada figures out your claim is false. If all does not go well, have a baby on the land. This way you can't be deported and the Canadian government will give you more money because you have a child. There are many more but I will not write them to place them into the open world but there are many more tactics of abuse, Student Visa is but one of them, the next is Migrants. If you are not near the system but you listen closely to the stories, you will hear the real truth and you will also hear the underground truth which people speak about behind closed doors.

When media such as CBC Also government employees who are paid by the federal government Do not ask these questions Which are again Paid to NGOs By us poor taxpayers!!!!! Towards these professionals who represent economic migration and only cost us Canadians more money

You guys should do more stories on inequality, though it requires more research than talking with random people on the street. Also when the people you interview make claims such as "they're not paying taxes" or "there's a lot of fake universities", i think it would be right to try and back that up or know the details of this

why are they being deported when they should have never been allowed in. they would be waiting outside of canada until their claim is approved. so when it's not approved, they are rightfully no longer Canada's problem.

(This can be viewed as assumptions but it's factual) Was at a A&W last night me and my fiancee were the only Canadians there... went to Walmart after.... Now sure I wasn't in every part of Walmart but I only seen one actual Canadian born worker... Sure it can be said it's assumption on my part but I am confident with my assumption based on what I saw. Our public transportation ( bus ) there's only 4 Canadians left. Now our busses speed, don't give time for people to get on safely.... accidents almost daily. And from what I heard there has to be a shuttle bus on standby because the new drivers just make false claims of accidents and issues so shuttle has to come and pick up the people on the bus to finish the route. Our rental market is far and thin. Our homeless is Canadians NOT foreign. And we are seeking illicit activities and mind altering chemicals to deal with the stress of life more and more each day. Concerns me my son and daughter have to grow up like this. I fear for them and their future in a country that I once believed in. I'm not racist I try my best to treat everyone fairly and equally. But Canada is changing and it's causing great impact we can't handle.
