Immigrants are not aliens, they are legal immigrants. On the other side, original Canadians are to be blame for their low birth rate, due to which government hasn't any choice but to have foreigners to run the businesses and dialy life course. The low birth rate is real issue. If the people of Canada didn't focus on this, sooner or later foreigners will overtake Canada. And of course when immigrants comes, surely they will bring their culture and living style too. Asking them to adopt Candian culture from the first day is senseless. So I reside in Ontario, I live in a city they call the armpit of Ontario. And everytime I come to this restaurant (I dont want to say what restaurant but if u ask id tell you) - I would see a lot of them coming in by groups and they wear clothes like they still live back to whatever country they are from and would sit on their chairs cross legged as other people eat their food. Every hour theres dozens of them coming and I came to think are these people even legally here. It is just crazy to me as a legal immigrant where me and my family waited for 8 years for the application process, spent hundreds of thousands of money meanwhile I see people that arent from here and not even try to assimilate to Canadian culture. It is just infuriating.

And then we have fake refugees, students overstaying visa and applying for refugee status and playing our system, rejected applicants enjoying our health care system etc. What a mess and insult to genuine applicants who lined up and went legally through the immigration system.

Once inside, they bring in more of their own, creating insular hiring circles designed to shield and advance one another, regardless of merit!

There are always two sides of the story. When British and French went from starting trade with indigeneous to brigning their families and settling towns on their land, they must have had the same feeling. I have seen Finnish, croatian, greek, polish, italian, german cultural centers and businesses serving their communities in Canada. Can we also say that they should assimilate in Canadian culture? I do acknowledge that there is massive influx of immigrants in a short span which govt. did to compensate for labor needs but they did not invest in infrastructure and orientation of immigrations. I have worked with Canadians in their 60s vs 20s, there was a huge difference in work ethic. My white manager relied on me and my another friend for closing or opening shift than some local preveliged kids. I am in support of deporting illegals but let's educate who are here legally. Collaborate with communities to voice out your concerns and look at the positive impact immigrants have made in past decades.

How they entered Canada? That time you didn’t check? I live in Brampton, i am all for diversity but where is the diversity if everyone is Indian. I am French originally and i am in a minority of one! Let's be clear, the massive Indian increase in the population is due to Trudeau's immigration policy, the indians did not jump over the border as some of the comments suggest, they mostly came here legally, and this was done without broad agreement of the Canadian population as a whole. Canadian population went from being 30 million inhabitants to 40 millions in just over a decade, a massive population increase in a short time due mostly to Indian immigration with huge impact on housing , cost of housing, infrastructure, jobs, taxes, etc... The liberals have a lot to answer for the disaster which Canada has become in the last 10 years and yes they got rid off Trudeau, but they are still in power, stiffling the potential economic growth of Canada which should be a rich country instead of being a country where many people live from pay cheques to pay cheques.

I grew up with integration that I LOVED, met people from all over the world. I've been working since I was 14 I've worked for people from all over the world , rented from different people since I was 18 and learned great things I can add to my construction or cooking repertoire that you could possibly couldn't learn in the West without diversity. BUT now we have a group of people coming here buying up businesses while only hiring people from their country buying up single homes putting up crammy 8 plexus, and only renting to people from their home country. If these were French people like my heritage is, I would be even more pissed because I could say something without being called a racist. These immigrants are coming here with one goal retribution against the English Empire for the past or some shit, I dont know, and they're taking it out on us Canadians. over 5 years I've collected proof so I feel very safe coming out now and talking about this because I have everything to back it up. Those single homes I was talking about half of them burned down and they use insurance fraud money add multiple loopholes to use government money along the way as well, that's damn taxpayer money building parts of these homes... I'm a concrete worker they do not let these walls set properly, they don't seal the windows and doors properly, everything's going to leak but because they only rent to people from their home country after 3 years they can take their name off the property and nobody and I mean nobody is going to report leaks because they have a tyrannical control over who they rent to.... As a Canadian, I work in healthcare in the disability sector, and I am extremely frustrated with what I am seeing the Indian population taking over the sector. There are ongoing issues with Indians who cannot communicate clearly in English with clients. This has resulted in serious confusion and, on several occasions, situations escalating into violence. Clear communication is essential in healthcare, and this failure puts vulnerable clients at risk. Clients are not being provided with proper meals that meet their dietary needs. Instead, food is often prepared without consideration for the client’s usual diet, which has caused clients to become physically ill. On top of that, basic food safety practices are not being followed at all. To make matters worse, the company does not provide proper foodsafe training, despite it being a legal requirement. There are also major professionalism issues. Some Indians arrive late to work—sometimes by hours—and give excuses with no consequences. I have documented these incidents and reported them to upper management, yet nothing is done. During shifts, 90 percent of Indian staff sit in the office for long periods, leaving clients unattended except for basic cooking. This can go on for days until white staff are scheduled. One incident that really stood out involved a client returning from a doctor’s appointment. When I asked how it went, I was told the client “had something on his head” and needed to use a cream. When I asked what the condition was or whether it was contagious, the Indian staff member did not know what the word contagious meant let me remind you I work in health care. I later learned from the client’s mother that it was a fungal infection information that should have been clearly communicated immediately for everyone’s safety. I am exhausted by the lack of standards, accountability, and training in this workplace. If you are going to work in healthcare in Canada, you must be able to communicate effectively, follow food safety laws, show up on time, and provide proper care. Lowering standards for the Indian population puts vulnerable people at risk, and management allowing this is unacceptable. If your coming to Canada follow are values and beliefs are stay in India.

I do not blame them. Government looting resources in last 80 years and leaving citizens to dogs. So people are migrating to everywhere. You see them not just in Canada. Tighten the borders. And let people come in legally only if needed.

I'm an immigrant. I came to Canada 55 years ago. Legally and I couldn't speak english that well. I couldn't get a job as I was used to always work and with the public. And I couldn't get a job. The only place I could get a job. Was at the factory because I couldn't speak english. Good enough. Nobody would give me a job and it makes me very angry that this immigrants come in here now and take a job without speaking any english. That is not fair.

I agree many things, but not agreeing to “ not paying tax”, “not working hard” & “just cross the border illegally”, most new Brampton residents pay high taxes as most work at jobs and payroll money comes after tax. Maybe minor fraction like (0.01%) might be working in cash not paying tax. It’s just their frustration speaking. Almost all Indian immigrants are not refugee that they come free to Canada and live in hotels for free. Indian immigrants are economic immigrants, who came here legally with investing big money and working in country and giving back.
