We all immigrats get use to it

Canada is basically an oligopoly. The politicians are intertwined with a wealthy ruling class that is extremely politically protected. The influx of immigrants was by design to repress wages and ensure that wealthy oligarchs could continue to pay minimum wage for labor. The politicians get board positions in exchange for these favours. The media is heavily subsidized by government, and Donald Trump going off on Canada and threatening tariffs was all they needed to ensure our conservatives could be painted as traitors to the country and the Liberals could be guaranteed a win so the charade can continue.

We are suffering greatly but if we all collectively blame it on Trump we can feel better while it gets worse. Elbows up everybody

They will still bring in a large number of PRs. I dont mind if they are doctors and nurses to ease the pressure on hospitals. Instead we get low skilled immigrants. Enough immigration and support Canadian youth.

Are they seriously trying to include fresh immigrants as canadians, as if they've grown up here? No, they get no say.. Once your accent has been destroyed will canadians accept you as canadian.

My friends dad was a refugee in Sweden. He faked illnesses to get extra money and was allowed to retire 20 years earlier. Then he moved back to Syria and he still gets money, he has no job, he doesn't need it.....

Thanks Liberals for pushing us so far down the hole it's going to take a miracle to get us back on top. Remember the size of family our great grandparents, grandparents had ~ like 7 to 10 kids, I'm 60 and had 4 siblings. The size of families just keeps getting smaller ~ too expensive for everything for adults and even more so for the cost of a child. 95% of us don't have that silver spoon in our mouths at birth......

I think due to the prosperity and stability Canada has enjoyed for so long Canadians have developed a certain standard of living and expectations in regards to that. So no, we don't want to have to work 2-3 minimum wage paying jobs to get by, no we don't want to live 4 or more to a 400 sqft studio apartment, yes we want to be able to afford our own homes, yes we want to be able to achieve a stable middle class lifestyle. That doesn't work for the crony capitalists who's greed and lust for power always needs satiating. So we have the Liberal government bringing in more immigrants than we have infrastructure to accommodate in an effort to keep wages down so profits can always be up. Immigrants who are willing to accept a lower quality of life than what most Canadians expect/accustom to because it's still superior to where they came from. So the quality of life for all Canadians is exponentially reduced. We are to accept a lower quality of life and if we resist then we are branded with all kinds of derogatory names; racist, xenophobe, fascist, unacceptable fringe, far-right extremists, et al. What's undeniable is that before the Liberals took power in 2015 we had an immigration system in Canada that worked quite well and that since the Liberals took power our immigration system is a destructive mess. This isn't by accident or incompetence, it's intentional, by design. Unfortunately Canada has a problem with so much of our population being ideologically blind, willingly ignorant, easily manipulated, cowardly staying in an abusive relation with our current oppressive government. Question is can the country be saved before too much damage is done?

Canada used to have one of the strictest immigration systems in the world. We need to get back to that system where immigrants were vetted for years before earning citizenship. It's like Trudeau saw what Biden was doing and then said "Hold my White Claw!"

We need to stop these human rights activist to get back into the territory, applying resources to liberal judges to allow the abuse to continue

Appluses for hearing one side of the story. Care to hear the perspective of an Indian Immigrant in Canada? Then read on. I believe most people are barking up the wrong tree. As a legal immigrant who migrated here with a nuclear family only on merit, I believe I earn the privilege to voice my thoughts here. First of all, rather than blaming the hoards of Indian immigrants, why don't anyone ask questions to the people who allowed it? Why not ask the politicians who vetoed it? Why not ask the police who is not able to stop reckless drivers? Why not ask the minister's who allow hospitals to run under staffed? USA has a massive Indian diaspora. But they are mostly IT workers and CEOs and Doctors. So who was at mistake of bringing illiterate, uncouth Indians to Canada? After earning all the required merit, and paying as much taxes from my family that is equivalent to minimum wages of at least 4 people, it hurts me to see undeserving people taking benefits of the system, while we get the short end. No one seemed too concerned when Indian students brought in so much money and revived some dead economies. No one blamed thousands of Punjabi businesses bringing in dollars into the economy. India, with its 150 billion people has s#!to eaters and people who can buy out Canada. You only see the bad. Press the government to bring in good people. Doctors, engineers, lawyers, scientists, business people, who will add value to the country and generate you jobs and salaries and grow this country. Not cooks and drivers only. Khalistan and Pro-BJP factions are both bad outside India. They all should go back and let the peace loving Indians and Canadians live here in peace. I don't hate anyone, but just the people who make my home country and me look bad. We ain't that bad after all.

Wow, they get $ 50.000 tax free dollars the first year…must be nice, I wish I made that much money. And the also get 25,000 tax free dollars to set up their house …I never got that! and they also get the child tax free benefit too…..if they have 8-10kids wow ..they are making over six figures tax free ..free dental, free RX….I have to work hard for that! No freebies for the hard working Canadian tax payers! No wonder they all want to come to Canada …the land of milk and honey and easy money…why work? She forgot to mention that a lot of refugees never pay back the money for their air fare costs to come here ..ever! A lot of them complained when they had to go on welfare after a year…a drop on income…..oh no …maybe they have to go out in the cold to work everyday…..no , just have another kid or two…why work right. You can rent a seat on a scam car. You pay 500 dollars, and you get to be in the car when its in a purpose insurance scam accident. "oh........my back.......". Its true, its a business.

Finally someone is looking into this. FFS they literally founded non existent colleges to exploit the bridge loopholes from a faux student visa to a faux job which gets them to a PR status because the immigration offices are not doing their jobs. We've been flodded with fake students for years now. And for the record I am not against student visas and legal and appropriate immigration. Far from it. I appreciate every person, whether from India or somewhere esle, that is in Canada legally and with intention to integrate and contribute.

Really why are we not asking Poland, Argentina and USA how they reclaimed their country, Trudeau and WEF, end of story...do we analyse how the house caught fire, in the house while it burns us to death, or do we get out and call the successful fire dept, like Argentina, Trump and Poland. We absolutely do have an immigration problem, I’d say time to turn the tap off, and get on the ones here about status, BUT we cannot allow what has been happening in the states, anyone with a brain can see what the USA has become these days (government wise) But a controlled program without liberals and conservatives talking it into the ground. Or going the human rights violations route. We would see a noticeable decrease in this very evident problem, and yes it’s problem. I’m not liberal or conservative at all and you should not need to be either to see the problem.

I live in Toronto and it is full of Indian students. They are everywhere, every business, gas stations, grocery stores, dollar stores, all basic jobs you find indians. They can get visas for their spouses, their parents so easily. How is it so easy for them to get into Canada. Some can hardly speak English. Its hard to even get a basic job.

I dont get why they’re kicking out immigrants who work and can actually integrate?
