Thank you so much for this video. I just passed the test with 17/20. Few questions are out of this video. And some are tricky. I did some other mock tests as well like Richmond Library, studied the map and etc. Some I remember are: 1. What is the common term for someone elected in Federal elections? A. Riding Winner B. Member of Parliament C. Senate D. Federal Executive. 2. Which of the following represents being Canadian and expresses national identity? A. Symbols like Maple leaf B. Equality C. Unity D. Human Right Commission 3. Jury duty consists of partial jurors and past jurors (in similar meaning) True or False. 4. French and English are: A. Fighting rebellion in 1800s B. French joined hands with Americans to fight against English C. Lived together for 300 years D. All of the above 5. Got a basic question about suffrage movement 6. What are prairie provinces? Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba (SAM) 7. I got a question about provinces from west to east on Canada map. Please look and memorize the provinces locations. 8. Got a question about Peace Arch in Blaine 9. Question about Peace Tower like what was built after first world War. 10. Question about Aboriginals. Ans: First Nations, Metis and Inuits 11. Branches of Parliament Ans: Sovereign, House of commons and Senate 12. Courts do: Ans: Settle disputes These all what I remember. I am not sure which ones I got wrong. Might be in the first 5 I posted here. Test is not difficult but it is better to go through this video multiple times and do some other mock tests as well, in my opinion. I came here 25 years ago from India. While growing up, I would go to the terrace of my home and turn the antenna to get Cbc at night. I watched Air Farce One, the green show, NFB and Cbc and was always fascinated with Canada. I knew then when I was 20 that I will make Canada home. I wrote my IELTS ENGLISH test, studied here with good grades. And I did. I have an amazing career and young kids. And I have loved everyday of it. I have watched rerun of trailer park boys about 10 or so times already, watched Corner gas, watch hockey, I have embraced the weather, the people and the values this nation stands for. I have travelled coast to coast and to the great north. Heck I have been to more places in Canada with my job than other Canadians who are born and raised here. Now all I see there these ignorant, entitled effs thinking they can come and change the way of life. Like how Don Cherry said, they want the milk and honey but won't respect the values. I am effing done with this immigration and the government. Steven Harper was the prime minister when I got my citizenship and it was the proudest moment of my life. I really hope Canadians wake up. I know exactly why the racism has gone up and I don't blame the Canadians at all. These clowns bought it on to themselves. I just had enough and wish things would back to how it was 20 or so years ago.

To be here as a citizen today, I had to pay CAD$35.000 for a two years program in Toronto. But to get the study visa I had to prove a lot of things, including money, proof that I had paid the college (at least 1st year), English, a Bachelor degree (education), a clear criminal history, and what attach me to my country. I had to study hard, and only after graduation I could have 3y work permit. By working in Canada I could get more point to become a permanent resident. After 2y having my PR, I could get the citizenship, but I had to prove I pay taxes, clear criminal history, and other things that show I would be a good citizen. So, I worked (and still work) hard, I am currently in two jobs and at school taking my masters, I respect the laws, I respect the culture (I never tried to impose mine), and I pay over CAD$10.000 in taxes per year on my income. That said, I feel as a slap on my face when fraudulent and dishonest people are able to be here cheating the system in any way. Some people may say I am an immigrant against immigration. NO, I am in favor of people taking the right path to immigrate, and make real contributions for this country, not coming to be scammers and criminals.

The country needs the right type of temporary workers that can support the building of housing and not cheap agriculture labor. Also from a student point of view; if they are studying in areas which aren't aligned to the needs of the country then need to go back home. It would be a disservice to Canadian's and the students to keep them here.

How is it a tragedy, if they studied a competent program, they would have a good career, no matter where.

Just completed mine — got 19 correct! A few tips: this video helps a lot, but I recommend going through the study guide at least once before watching this video. Also, an app called Citizenship was really useful as well. Good luck to everyone. It's easy don't be over stress.

Today i gave my test and got 18/20 correct. After watching this video. I passed the test in first attempt. Didn’t study anything else except this video. Very helpful thank you so much for uploading it🙏🙏

You don’t need endless studies and quantifiable evidence to apply a bit of common sense I don’t need a study to tell me to close the window or put on a sweater if it’s cold in my house The point is there shouldn’t be one extra dollar that’s spent on anything that is outside of Canadian interests

All international students are required to provide documents and statement letters in their student visa applications to prove that they intend to return to their home countries after their studies. The only thing that is expected (not guaranteed in any way) is a post-graduation work permit to give them a chance to acquire Canadian work experience and have enough points to apply for permanent residency if they choose to. The government should only be responsible for those who were already selected and approved for residency before changes to the regulations. All future applicants should be evaluated based on the latest changes. That is not new, and all current immigrant citizens had to adapt to the changes to requirements back in their time as well.

Unbelievable! Not a single question on the exam came from the 411 questions—I wasted two full days watching the videos three times! Luckily, I studied the Discover Canada book and managed to get 17 questions right, just barely passing. Don’t fall for it like I did!

I am a new comer and I want to prepare for citizenship test. Should I watch this video several times or study discover Canada book? My English is also not good, would it be possible to only watch this video and pass test? Thank you

I passed my exam today!!! It did ask me about the remembrance day poem though, so that one should also be studied.

Watched the video twice went over the study guide once and did free practice test from any site i could find. I Scored 20/20 thank you! The video really helped.

Unlike the king's daughters, these people came with visas. Some came to study, some to work, and others came here as permanent residents. What kind of visas did the king's daughters hold? They were sent here to do what? What visas did the convicts shipped by Britain and France to North America have?

It does not come in the same form of questions,but in another way I did a study from the video,but the questions came in a different way from the video completely.

I studied 4 times, and passed my exam yesterday with 20 out of 20. Good thing was I had 45minutes to complete to test, but when I completed remaining time was 37minutes. I finished in 8minutes. Thanks a lot. Exam is not rocket science do not worry 😊😊

What about students who used to come with real studying intentions? What about real good schools, with solid programs? Canada has lost its reputation completely as a destination for international students. It is the last among developed countries, and now domestic programs are closing down because of not enough financing. Domestic tuition fees rise.

Just took the test, got 19/20 (July 2025). This video was of great help. Read the study once and watched this once video from start till end, and I was all set. Thanks for sharing this video. Also, thanks to everyone for the comments because your testimonies help give credibility.

I know of several that are in my city (in Alberta) that are here on BC study visas, trying to get Alberta drivers licenses. Ummm why would they be you think? Seems a long drive to Vancouver from a small city in Alberta
