Canadians overwhelming support much tighter immigration and for people overstaying visa holders to leave when they expire. Getting a student visa obviously doed not mean you get to stay. The previous immjgration system was a disaster and we are suffering for the damage done and will be for a long time.

We have people sleeping in tents outside during the winter -30c and even worse weather, we have a major housing crisis, we are short close to half a million homes. Young Canadians are not getting hired because companies are hiring foreigners who are cheap labour, young people are not able to afford to move out of their parents homes. We are now seeing young Canadians looking for jobs and opportunities outside of Canada 🇨🇦, the Liberal government has destroyed this country.

lol im a indian born n raised in canada, used to live in Brampton but moved since it was literally india 2.0 .. my entire family are born in canada except for my mom who came in her 20’s, and obv my grandparents. brampton is genuinely just india, not canada. i don’t get y brampton js attracts every single travelling desi. my grandparents came to canada for a modern, safer world to raise and wtv, so whats the point lmao. 🫩✌️

I am shocked at the fact there are more dislikes than likes when the CBC provides facts and so many people say they are lies, and others agree! The negative sentiments about refugees and immigrants are getting louder and people are happy to call fellow human beings “them”. They insinuate this is a huge burden, when the fact is we benefit from migration. It seems people think Canada will be over run by people from a foreign land, take all the resources and eliminate people born here, but that’s only happened once, when the British and the French arrived 400 years ago.

100 Yrs ago we could help-people by setting them on their feet at home or letting them emigrate. I work with someone Sikh. He happens to live in Brampton. So what? He's a great guy and he works hard. He's probably first generation, and he's as Canadian as anyone else I know. Everything I'm reading here is exactly what people once said about Irish and Italians. Give everyone some time to learn what being Canadian is all about. For the record I'm white and I've lived all my life, but I don't live in Barampton. I'm also first generation in this country, but I get a pass because my parents came here from Scotland, not India. The Indian people are nice dont get me wrong, but the issue is there are to many of them and alot of them dont want to lwarn our language after moving here and they start businesses but only hire other Indians because of the language barrier. They are also buying up all the houses and alot of them will only rent to their own making it very difficult for Canadians to find houses to rent. Even half the realtors are indian. We have no jobs left very few houses and its makkng Canadians go homeless

Solution? Embrace global multiculturism. If every national marries to other national without any form of backlash or rejection from the society then the world will be good, first dinosaurs live then homo sapiens came then natives came then Europeans came now Indians are coming.
