Wanted to visit Canada in some day 😂 now I have doubts

I came here 25 years ago from India. While growing up, I would go to the terrace of my home and turn the antenna to get Cbc at night. I watched Air Farce One, the green show, NFB and Cbc and was always fascinated with Canada. I knew then when I was 20 that I will make Canada home. I wrote my IELTS ENGLISH test, studied here with good grades. And I did. I have an amazing career and young kids. And I have loved everyday of it. I have watched rerun of trailer park boys about 10 or so times already, watched Corner gas, watch hockey, I have embraced the weather, the people and the values this nation stands for. I have travelled coast to coast and to the great north. Heck I have been to more places in Canada with my job than other Canadians who are born and raised here. Now all I see there these ignorant, entitled effs thinking they can come and change the way of life. Like how Don Cherry said, they want the milk and honey but won't respect the values. I am effing done with this immigration and the government. Steven Harper was the prime minister when I got my citizenship and it was the proudest moment of my life. I really hope Canadians wake up. I know exactly why the racism has gone up and I don't blame the Canadians at all. These clowns bought it on to themselves. I just had enough and wish things would back to how it was 20 or so years ago.

So why is this continuing when it's clearly not what the native born citizens want? Because no one will stand up and take the required action!

The birth rate is low b/c the rich have too much money and the workers have too little. Tax the rich, tax them HARD and incr workers watges and you will see people have the number of babies that they want. In fact, reward them for having babies, make it cost free like it was in the USSR..... If Canada (or the US) offered free housing, free childcare, and guaranteed jobs (the USSR model), the "labor shortage" and "birth rate crisis" would vanish in 9 months.

If you want to move to another country fine, but please don’t turn that new country into what you just moved from. I mean, didn’t you move to escape that environment in the first place?

When the requirements were higher the people who came actually wanted to be here. The recent surge does not care one bit about the values or people they just want to take as much as possible for themselves and will bend every rule imaginable to do so.

This is exactly what the liberals wanted.

Unfortunately, collateral damage is expected. The country is not divided. Some may not admit it but this is the direction most of the Canadians want the government to take. I stand with my prime minister.

there is a lot of homeless here where i live in alberta, edmonton specifically. i want them to be helped. why is our “PM” not helping them?!!!

I know someone working in that department who was complaining to their supervisor about massive fraud as far back as 2017, and they were told to keep pushing people through because the government wanted numbers.

An Uber driver was upset while telling me that he has family who have lived in the country for over 10 years but still refuse to learn English. They seem to want the benefits of living here, but not to embrace the culture that makes this country great. It feels like we’re losing a battle most people didn’t even realize was happening. A government is meant to serve its people, yet it often feels like ours is working against us.

"I've heard enough" as they were explaining... When you want to understand you listen to the whole truth vs fish for the facts you want to hear to reinforce a narrative. There probably is a problem but we can't know "barn" or "bread basket" if we don't hear the explanations.

Canada has welcomed criminals and members of terr0r organizations in the last 10 years, even has paid millions of $$$ to them. So, any normal country that cares for the wellbeing of their citizens would want to protect its borders from those “Canadians”

what international talent canada wants ? its just want international money. I am skilled multi device technician (NOC 22311) and have 3 years on canadian experience. repaired over 3000 devices for air canada, canada post, bank of montreal, various schools, hospital and colleges. I see no chance to get PR and extend my expiring visa. Government just keep inviting the French speakers.
