Here’s how things went off track: Many individuals who couldn’t pass the IELTS (English proficiency test) entered the country on visitor visas or through spousal sponsorships—some of which were questionable or fraudulent. During that time, the government was converting visitor visas into work permits with little to no scrutiny. Background checks and rejections were rare. Meanwhile, colleges rapidly expanded their intake capacity—understandably so, since international students pay three to four times more in tuition. At the same time, due to inflationary pressures, the government allowed international students to work 40 hours per week instead of the previous 20-hour limit. This created a new, ready-to-work labor force in just a year or two, heavily impacting the retail sector. As a result, a large portion of retail jobs shifted toward a single ethnic group, while many Canadian citizens found themselves sidelined. One key factor was flexibility. Many immigrant communities—particularly Indian—were more willing to accept irregular hours and last-minute shifts, often adopting a more compliant, “yes sir” attitude that employers found appealing. However, I’m already beginning to notice changes in the retail landscape, likely due to the government finally tightening immigration rules. i’m a farm worker in rural bc who works with indian ladies, i ❤️ them so much. just lovely. my mechanic is a sihk, one of my favorite people ever. indian people helped build bc in the last century and continue to do so, their culture is equal to western culture, i don’t worry that they are here one bit, but immigration from anywhere has to be balanced and fair.

I just finished my test January 28 2026 19/20. , I got multiple True/False questions as many people. One was about Olympic gold medal winner in 2010 Vancouver was Men's team. True. I remember a question about start of the modern energy industry, it had given timefram and what was the energy . I chose the Oil Alberta 1947 , which was correct. It has I think hydroelectricity Quebec 1980 as another answer closest for choice. Another question I remember True false , it has 3 names Question was are these one of the great inventors of Canada. So I would suggest you take note of Greatest inventors of Canada. There are multiple. Many answers of questions are too easy to eliminate because they don't make sense at all. You are mostly between 2 answers easily. If you just study this video I think you'll surely pass 😅. Another question was ; Who are appointed by on the advice of Prime minister? Answers; Memebers of parliement Mayors Senators Citizens Obviously Senators was the answer but answers might differ, so just study the other applicable answers for the questions.

Dude saying he’s not a number. He’s a literally a number to the ministry. Everyone is a number. No one owes anyone anything. The majority of Canadians are asking for a cut to immigration. Let's be clear, we added 3M people in 2 years or 3.8% per year. Too much, too fast. No one can build housing, hospitals, schools for that level of growth. We had the 4th fastest growing population in the world, beating out Developing Countries in Africa. We will go back to an immigration rate of 0.8%, maybe 1% at the highest. We will still have the highest rate in the developed world.
