It took me 7 years to get a PR

My parents came from Germany in 1962 my father had to prove he had a job before he was allowed to come come to Canada and he had to wait a year before he could send for us plus he was told he had to buy a house

My supervisor has over stayed her work visa by almost a year. Says because she applied for an extension she won't get deported even though that extension won't likely be approved for another year.

Time to get rid of the income tax entirely, it was a temporary measure to fund World War 1 and that ended 106 years ago.

We pay huge taxes so these people get a free ride. I'll take a 5 year expenses and benefits paid vacation please.

A stand needs to be taken b4 it’s too late. We are still the majority for NOW. But we are becoming less with every passing month and year.

3 years in Canada, on a PR, needs to use google translate to speak English. Why is this allowed?

I paid taxes in this country for 50 years now and i dont get anything free ,Healthcare is not free especially when 50%of my paycheck goes to Ottawa ,so why do they get free things and i pay for it.

With Artificial Intelligence eventually ingraining into all the workplaces, years to come less and less people needed in the workforce, and esp. in the service line and entry level job.

Except I’ve WORKED for the benefits I get. I paid taxes for over 60 years. What have they done? Can I have a $50,000 “set up” cheques, too??? And $10,000 for air fare?‽‽!?

And we are not divided over it, not at all Canada has never been so united I don’t remember the country ever being in this unit. I’m 58 years old. I’m happy that we are.

Thanks for opening up dialogue and interviewing a pretty wide range. Immigration does make Canada beautiful when done in a sustainable way. I hope we can find a balance into the future, the last few years we lost that balance.
