How about the Emigration problem? Immigration from another country is one thing; Losing a worker to Emigration is another. This is what happened in the Netherlands: After the war, there was massive unemployment. (since not everyone is fit to work in construction) So we sent 5% of the country away, mostly to Canada. Most everyone who emigrated was fit and of working age. A lot of them where farmers. Twenty years later there was a massive labour shortage. Our country needed fit men of working age. So we got immigrants.

Bottom line is , No one cares about history anymore.

(This can be viewed as assumptions but it's factual) Was at a A&W last night me and my fiancee were the only Canadians there... went to Walmart after.... Now sure I wasn't in every part of Walmart but I only seen one actual Canadian born worker... Sure it can be said it's assumption on my part but I am confident with my assumption based on what I saw. Our public transportation ( bus ) there's only 4 Canadians left. Now our busses speed, don't give time for people to get on safely.... accidents almost daily. And from what I heard there has to be a shuttle bus on standby because the new drivers just make false claims of accidents and issues so shuttle has to come and pick up the people on the bus to finish the route. Our rental market is far and thin. Our homeless is Canadians NOT foreign. And we are seeking illicit activities and mind altering chemicals to deal with the stress of life more and more each day. Concerns me my son and daughter have to grow up like this. I fear for them and their future in a country that I once believed in. I'm not racist I try my best to treat everyone fairly and equally. But Canada is changing and it's causing great impact we can't handle.

It’s sad to see how much Canada has changed over the years. For health care ,one woman died after giving birth by normal delivery in credit valley hospital, this how bad the health care system is right now 😢

Well I'm tired that I'm told I have privilege when I have family buried in Holland that politicians pretend to honor for a few minutes one day a year and then go and look for another freedom to take. And that doesn't take into account those who served and those who spent time in prisoner of war camp. Thankyou sir for valuing and embracing your new country.

The amount of births is staggering. The ones 'applying' for refugee status would give birth here in Canada. Which the people in charge would then have to approve them or the new born would suffer.

That is the reason I think AI should rule the country, not the politicians. Politicians clearly make wrong decisions one after the other. Their only concern is to save their seats. 😊

Well sir, You can put your finger on the way Indian people do their stuff (Tradition /culture ) but you can never finger out and say they are not patriotic. When it comes to protecting what they love they will be first one on line of defence, Mark my word. We Respect every Countries constitution, and we are hard workers that's why we prosper. I grew up in meadow vale which is next town over from Brampton the whole GTA is invaded, trying to rent a 2 bedroom apt near square one there was a family of 6. It’s messed up.

I’m not shocked. One of my friends was dating a couple different men from India until they asked for her to marry them, they’d pay her money and divorce after they got their green card. Then said their plan was to go home, get married and bring their actual wife back to Canada.

One would have to wonder if the deities would by necessity change to local creatures. Could Ganesh or Airavata become like a bear or a moose? Would these deities be immutable?

I’ve lived in Canada for 30 years, but I became unemployed in 2021. This is the first time I’ve been out of work for more than a year and a half. I’ve applied online for over 20 jobs, but unfortunately I haven’t received any responses. This has never happened to me before. When I first came to Canada, it felt very safe—you could even leave your door unlocked at night. Things have changed a lot since then. Nowadays, there are many new immigrants and refugees, which has also changed the job market. I’ve noticed that many companies prefer hiring workers with student visas, because the government subsidizes part of their wages. That makes it more cost-effective for companies compared to hiring Canadian workers. I heard this directly from my former manager. As a result, some of my old colleagues now only get one or two days of work per week, while companies continue bringing in new employees.

Why are they getting ANY of my tax money? The only thing my Dad go t when we emigrated was a job, a skilled one, and no one handed him that.
