I have a large office building on the Gold Coast Australia. I walked into a house that I wanted to lease. It was of course rented by Indians and some were still living in there. The owner wanted almost $4k per month. The moment I stepped foot inside the house, the stench was so powerful that it nearly made me vomit. I initially thought it was just the entrance, it got progressively worse the further in I went. Bathrooms were unclean, there were stains all over the walls, rotten food around, dirty shoes and clothes thrown all around, damage to just about every corner inside of the house ... I walked out. The next day, I went to see another house on the other side of the city, thinking it's more on the outskirts and it looked slightly better on the outside, same exact situation and I was ironically asked if I was "Indian because I can get a discount on the rent", I walked out. The blatant racism and disrespect was nauseating. I was raised that it's not permissible to exit out of your house dirty let alone not cleaning up after yourself.
