And we are not divided over it, not at all Canada has never been so united I don’t remember the country ever being in this unit. I’m 58 years old. I’m happy that we are.

As an immigrant I thank canada for the help, I will work hard and pay taxes to repay the favor. I love this country and will do everything to pay back to the community.

That’s the harsh reality. During Trudeau’s time, Canada saw a significant influx of newcomers, which put pressure on housing, the labour market, and healthcare. It’s normal for a country to tighten immigration for a few years; lower quotas naturally mean higher requirements. Coming on a study permit or a work permit doesn’t guarantee permanent residency. Once a temporary status expires, and if there’s no other legal pathway to stay, the person must leave Canada.

A lot has to do with the Canada's immigration policy and foreign policy. I came in 2010, this country has changed a lot.

I arrived in Canada 25 years ago. Yes, I am an immigrant — but I embraced this country, learned its language, and built my life here. Canadians welcomed me with open arms, and I carry deep respect and gratitude for that generosity. But Canada today is not the Canada of 25, or even 15, years ago. Our nation has changed profoundly. And because I love this country, I believe we must not be afraid to speak up, to protect the values and culture that make Canada the home we cherish.

I think Canada has more than done its part forever, it's time for other countries to step up also. I trust the new immigrations rules are consistent with international human rights standards as well as what's best for Canada.

I find it mind blowing that any Canadian would want to go there. Stay in Canada and support our businesses or book a flight to another country.

Canadian colleges and universities international student department would have the records of all students who were processed through that institution-but did not show up for the studies just showed up inside of Canada. I don’t know why our system doesn’t catch these student visa access to country, but don’t show up for the study…?

7:00 I checked a tax calculator for Canada, $2710 is not a valid number for $21/hour for 40 hours a week anywhere in the country. The closest I got was $2708. Also, I would love to see a bill breakdown. "$9 for insurance" That is a bill... "I work 8 and a half hours a day" So... That means you work 42 hours a week.

Why are any Canadians going to the USA. Canada, Canada Canadian Businesses and Fellow Canadians need our fellow Canadians not be SELFISH and Support the USA BOYCOTT, No vacationing No dining No shopping No sports events No musical festivals All those things are wants not needs!!! If Canadians don't like it, just don't go. Entering another country is a privilege not a right. Canada can impose the same on visitors from other countries if we think it is necessary.

We can only hope, but new world order neoliberals want to make Canada a proper thrid world country of economic dualism in every city. What do you expect look at our immigration problems Canada is bringing in so many immigrants that they do not vet. Also our errogant superior attitude is hurting our reputation and insulting theie president doesn't help. Canada is not the same country it was over 10 years ago.

Canada has to stop funding all programs to foreign countries....we need to fund our country first...we are not bad unconcerned citizens...we just don't want to be taken advantage of....we are broke!

I have nothing again immigrants but a lot that comes in Canada to gain money but send most of the money to their family in there country so it's not benefits to Canada or don't work and profit from the money give from government about time Canada put is pants

Maybe with a new, and NOT Liberal, government, family breadwinners can earn enough so that Canadians can affort to have the children that will make it not so necessary to import workers. It wouldn't be so bad if immigrants (not all - I know) didn't bring all their frustrations and anger from their home with them into our society. Currently immigration causes way too much friction and divisivness in Canada. They bring their problems with them They need to solve those issues in their home countries. We don't need those problems to be faught here in our peaceful country.

These immigrants were scheduled to leave anyway. They were well aware of it. So, it is not based on new immigration rules. The government tried to force too many people into the country, causing a spike in housing prices and many other problems. This then affected every Canadian. A lot are becoming even poorer. It is one of the reasons they had more tent cities and 2 million people going to food banks along with 2/3 of Canadians with only 500.00 a month after all monthly bills were paid. That's 2/3 of Canadians. The Convoy had released these figures over a year ago at CPAC. Proving that Canada is in a huge mess economically because of these Liberal policies. @minimaxmiaandme.4971 - I don't hide behind a fake name. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the convoy or did you forget? The Liberals violated Canadians' Constitutional Rights to Protest. Which proves they are more credible than the Liberals. Canada used and earned money from international students and put so many rules them to leave. Canada doesn't want educated ppl they want refugees to run their country. Those who doesn't even have any language Proficiency. This country is run by headless ppl. They have to enrol int. Students from other countries not only India. Iran , Sudan they give easy work permit and PR. But those who did Masters studies no points.

Aside from Canada, what country doesn't protect their citizens. All countries have rules. Get over it.

CANADA does NOT HAVE a 'Housing Crisis". The housing crisis is in Vancouver & Toronto, because we let ALL the immigrants move there. But there are a thousand small towns across the country that need immigrants to stop from becoming ghost towns. The failure was in the Liberal Party deciding that getting the immigrant vote was how to win elections, so they let immigrants decide where to go, which didn't help the country. I should know.. I owned a 28-suite apt. block in Winnipeg (not even a small town!) and my property value dropped below the mortgage cost because more people were leaving Manitoba than entering at that time. I lost my block. Thanks, Liberal Party of Canada.
