I'm glad Tyler is more or less neutral in his findings. It's true, many Indian's have come to Canada and I'm sure many do wish for a better life. Canadians understand this, but the methods the government of Canada is doing to push the numbers too high and too quickly is what's surprising to many. It's the accountability of the government that should be under scrutiny. If immigration was moderate and consistent, the social issues would not be as rampant, but social media loves stir the pot. This is also happening while Canada's housing infrastructure is crumbling, healthcare is deteriorating and general cost of living in Canada has skyrocketed and priced many Canadians out of simple living and enjoyment. Do you think Canadians today are as happy or well off as Canadians even 5 years ago? Do the results reflect that of other countries besides Canada?

As for healthcare I was in the hospital because I had a kidney transplant but I'm a Canadian citizen born here in Alberta and I was at 55 at the time I had some autoimmune but anyway of a big problem is the nurses this particular nurse that would let in a person the wife of a person that was from Croatia or somewhere that was getting a kidney machine to take home on the Canadian tax dollar and the nurse would let the wife come in after hours have dinner and sleep in an extra cot every night for 2 weeks they caught her they told her she had to find other accommodations and then there's kept letting her in after the doctors and other nurses went home a lot of the problem in healthcare is because we have all immigrants now as nurses because all their people that were doing it quit because of covid

If you come to canada, seeking asylum, or immigrating, they should all be required to work day 1, Healthcare, fine, handouts no. Welfare no. Work. Like my family when they immigrated. All the government needs to do is set up programs with farmers, or any industry to provide worker spots. Fed Government can either top up(not preferred) or like the good old days require an employer to provide lodging, for a nominal rate, towards their total income paid(3 square included). My and countless other families/ people had to enter the country that way, and it worked. So if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

It does work… In the end, after 10 years, the liberals won again. I don’t see any reason for them to change their ways if it brings them success in our democracy. My family was given a stay at a 5 star hotel and we stepped passed veterans who are homeless and they dont get help . I live like a king have a large bank account and have 3 different alias . My wife uses her maiden name as well her real name and her new name . Most families I know get average of 3850 per month free luxury hotel free food free clothes healthcare free tracfone and there is no need to work anymore . Come visit Australia (and particularly the big cities like Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane) and you'll find exactly the same thing here. We are in the middle of a huge immigration wave initiated by the socialist Labor government that is overwhelming infrastructure, housing supply & affordability and healthcare services. Driving standards have also decreased markedly and at the same time vehicle accident rates have risen exponentially, along with a steep and sustained increase in car insurance premiums in the time since this current immigration wave began after Covid due to increased accident rates and fraudulent insurance claims. Indians make up the second largest group of these new immigrants.

We shouldn't offer Healthcare of any kind to non citizens or non permanent residents. Let's say that again another way. Healthcare should only go to citizens and permanent residents, and temporary foriegn workers. Nobody else should get anything unless they pay up front out of pocket.

False reporting. Canada is not divided on this issue. The majority of Canadians support reduction of immigration numbers. The country has suffered severe strains on housing, healthcare & infrastructure due to over-immigration.

If the dont leave voluntarily, then we need ice like moves, i have been living in canada for 25 years, when we applied to come here, we had to wait years where my country was in civil war. These ppl that are here as a student and temporary residents,, must understand the law and that there is a legal way to come and live here. If they force themselves to stay, then we need worse than ice for them to face.. with crimes, healthcare and employment rate down, its the best option

Understand the term “asylum” seekers where they are coming from and why!! Demand for better healthcare services when you vote next time rather than gaslighting this issue. There are rules and laws in place, universally applicable covenants that protect vulnerable folks. Things shouldn’t have to be that divisive.
