I had close family that's been in Brampton since I was a little boy. I visited every year so I for to see what it was like. I think sometime in the 90s I started to see more and more Indians. Either way, we are all God's children. I know this won't sit well with my fellow Canadians, but I welcome anyone who wants to build a life in Canada and adopt our values.

I think your title is incorrect, no political party is advocating for more immigration at the moment. The people who are advocating for more migration now have their own personal agendas, this does not represent the country as a whole. The country is not falling apart because of changes in immigration laws.

There are way more than 800,000 people actually living in Brampton. Even local politicians acknowledge this. The censuses obviously don't count people here living illegally in lofts above their workplaces, nor do they count the thousands upon thousands of people living packed into illegal basement apartments and officially empty "investment properties." Why do you think covid lasted longer in Brampton than anywhere else in Canada and commuting in this city is impossible

How is CBSA going to track all of these people down? 30K deportations in a year is a lot less than 2.9 million. Somehow I think this is going to a difficult problem to resolve. CBSA is not staffed for this.

Not true. Most Canadians want smaller numbers and tighter requirements. The students and TEMPORARY workers think they automatically will get permanent residency, when in fact there are no guarantees..Why these people act like Canada did something wrong? Having that many people come is a strain on all our resources and job market. We have a right to decide who we need and want. Store manager is not a job that Canadians won't do.

Bernier was probably the closest thing to a chance to deal with this democraticly that we had. And I didn't think he had a chance in FPTP from the get go. Anyone remember Trudeau's promise to end FPTP? Yeah I had a little hope for that, that could have saved Canada.
