Sad to see the racist comments both in the video as well as in the comments. There is no doubt that Canada took too many immigrants in the past 5-7 years. The reasons are many - and the blame goes on both the provincial conservatives and federal liberals. The tuition freeze in Ontario caused colleges and universities to treat foreign students as an ATM to balance their budgets. Foreign enrollments skyrocketed, especially in colleges, with students paying top dollar for dubious degrees with no job prospects. This put strains on the job market, and the housing/rental market. As an educated Indian-American who now lives in Canada, it pains me to see my fellow countrymen dominating Uber, Uber Eats, Bicycle food delivery and Tim Hortons. No one uproots everything in their home country and comes all the way for this. Most of these people are here legally and they work really hard. A last word - leaving aside the Khalistan issue that has caused a wedge between Hindus and Sikhs - the Indian diaspora, especially the Sikh, are amazing in the amount of charitable work that they do. Their concept of seva is unmatched. No one goes hungry when there is a Gurdwara around, as there is always free nutritious food. Same is true for temples. Even a young poor Steve Jobs ate at Iskcon temples. Last point - while some of Canada's problems are because of excessive immigration, Canada would be nothing without immigrants. The population would decline, with a native fertility rate of under 1.4, and entitlement programs would be in deep trouble.

Indian people rule. Too much of anything at once is unhealthy. But this is still the least bad scenario in hindsight because they're actually decent, kind, hard working and ambitious. That can't be said for most 3rd world countries.

I’m gonna comment here with a lil rant and I’m Indian woman, and I know my comment here would probably invite a lot of racist remarks . I am working very hard in my country to be a doctor and I wanna leave my country (because no opportunities ) and move to a better and a safer country where I’m respected as a woman , which my country fails to . Now , I have to give a lot of exams and fill up a lot of visa requirements to be in any better country and I’m absolutely fine with it . But I’m not fine with the fact that countries like Canada , Australia , uk etc are immigrating people from India who are not educated , don’t wanna assimilate, with very eased up visa requirements, easy pr facilities because these countries want cheap labor and when these bottom of barrel uneducated folks move to another country they do shady businesses , start making huge communities of similar people having similar views and this leads to chaos and a backlash , racism on a particular ethnicity, stereotypes and so and so . I’m not saying my people aren’t flawed , they are but why the government is so easy in immigrating uneducated uncouth people from 3rd world countries where even these people wouldn’t be hired in some great companies or give anything great to build a valuable society , why people who are talented and literally would assimilate, has respect , is educated literally would bring a change for better is sidelined or toughened up their immigration process ? I might come off as very rude and jealous by my comment and actually im kinda jealous but I really wanna know and I observed this pattern a lot . All educated people wanting to move out are struggling while these kinda are just migrating so so easily and most even have permanent residencies WHAT ???

I'm white and obviously it's not all Indians, but the only demographic I've experienced racism and prejudice from are Indians. I try to remember to keep an open mind as generalizing is wrong, but it's getting harder and harder especially since majority of staff in jobs I worked recently are prejudiced and stick to their own ranks. They have spread throughout All the Provinces of Canada!!! I live in N.B and half the businesses here are Indian(India) owned now . Over the past 12-14yrs, the amount of people from Foreign countries around this county and just a cpl more surrounding us has went up 20 fold! ALOT of Indian(Computer Indian, Not the Indians that have Always been here and should rightfully own it) owned companies around here now. No apartments to rent around here anymore, and the ones you find have the rent jacked up to crazy amounts! I get along with all the ones I know. Nice , hard working people. My Dr. Is from India now too!

You guys are so missing the whole point, and it is perfect like rhat. One migrant equals one public job, Don t you understand that your public workers, the government workers sold your country to strangers. Everything our fathers worked for, they gave it away in exchange for a 23$ per hour job. They kept unworking, seeling your futur.......THIS is the core of the problem. Do you know a single public worker in the last 10 years who lost his job ?, lost wages ? Lost any life quality ? But every single private worker did........

I've had both good and bad experiences with Indians, I worked with one guy at the local supermarket, he literally had the entire department hating on him, he was disrespectful, constantly tried to avoid doing his job, the rest of my department had to rally together to tell management to get rid of him, on the other hand, I've also worked with Indians that were the complete opposite, very respectful, kind and hard working. One guy lived in one city, went to school (College/University) in another and worked in my small city, it blew my mind at how busy his life was. They're not all bad but it does feel a little odd to see so many in BC

They are definitely gaming the system. It's waaaaay too permissive. It's rough. Systems based on honor and lack of corruption get used when people used to bribery and corruption (most Indian politics, policies, taxes, etc) will use the hell out of it. That's why it works in places like Denmark, Finland, etc. They don't let just ANYONE in, it's actually quite difficult. Nothing wrong with Immigration as long as the immigrants assimilate and do so legally.

Why not make it affordable for Canadian women to have more than 1 child? Why bring Muslim women who don't work or pay taxes while paying them $700 plus per child, to have several children and $1950 per adult...so a refugee family with 3 children gets $6000 to live on not even working...when 2 working Canadians often don't earn that each working full time and have to pay taxes and child care for each child they have.

Indians live peacefully, Hard working people , Talented peoples, Try to assimilate as much as they can. if u have any problem then just get pakistanis , syrians, iraqi and afghani then you will understand what actual immigration is .

Not just brampton, you hardly find work in woodbridge, Mississauga, etobicoke. And if you can find it, there are 90% indian workers there ,they gang up together, and those little indian kids showing boss attitude to you ...

I was born and raised here. I've given birth to 6 children whom all have issues finding employment. Because all the jobs are taken every convenience store every timorhorns, every Taco Bell, every Burger King. Is taken their jobs and giving them to newcomers. I'm not against people coming over to our beautiful land and enjoying and contributing. Insane that? You've Come to us kindly respect us. Don't take Uber the way it is going right now. We are gonna be the minority and what's gonna happen 50 years down the road? Our great grandkids are gonna be going after the government. Looking for a handout because our government has given away all of our jobs. They've given away our security. I will our elderly need to work until almost the day they go in the ground, so many homeless families. Some of it. Is self situitional some of it? Is because, for a simple 3 bedroom. There's 2 grand add your hydro. Add, your heat. Winter is coming like one of the ladies in the video. Says I haven't had cable or satellite and probably 20 years. I make minimum wage working 40 hours a week. I have rent. I have a car payment. I have insurance and a warm more time. As she said, there's nothing left over. Where is our? Where is our Pat? On the back our gratitude, I am a people person. It doesn't matter color shape sighs. I love everybody as an individual but I like understanding when they're talking to me too. In the past decade, the liberal government has let FLOODS of these third-world people in, with zero English proficiency, zero education, and zero interest in learning about Canadian culture. May they all find JESUS and return to their home country to work hard and make it a better place for their children.

Difference between the somali community and indian community is night and day... indian people generally have a very strong work ethic and are educated but like with everything there is diminishing marginal utility when you decide to import in mass. It's not optimal.

there is no indian homeless in that sheltor because we come to this country legally, pay 3 times the tuition to colelges, work part time minimum wage with restricted hours, then we spend in your economy so we provide the labour and also do consumtion and then we pay taxes, and then we use our smart genes to set up businesses and get good jobs or if not then work 2-3 jobs just to earn our living. What do you guys do? Use the moeny bring into the economy to pay for pentions, and support your unemployment?

Guess working from home most of the time from your bed only 1 hour a day really has memory loss benefits. Working from home but still charging taxpayers over $2500+ travel expenses every month of the year for every bureaucrat in that panel.
