Immigration not problem , i am immigrant and now Canadian citizen i used to save money, now i have no money whatever i earn go into bills. Soo much of tax. I can’t even rent a basement maybe just a room. I told everyone not to come to canada. My brother payed 40,000$ in education with single day job. So he thinking going back nothing here. And its everywhere not just in canada

Better students come into Canada as they pay all their own costs than TFWs (other than seasonal farm workers) that deprive Canadians of jobs.

Canada should abolish the recruitment agent that hire undocumented people and pay cash to those people let companies direct hire people

The problem is there paying for their driver's license. They are not qualified to drive and they need to investigate the DMV up there

New immigrants or temporary workers they are not paying taxis and student won’t pay taxis but they benefits health cares free and they benefits social services

I’m not shocked. One of my friends was dating a couple different men from India until they asked for her to marry them, they’d pay her money and divorce after they got their green card. Then said their plan was to go home, get married and bring their actual wife back to Canada.

Asylum seekers who commit serious crimes here get a lessor sentence as not to affect their claim. If their claim is denied they appeal and still get $$ during appeal. The asylum seekers go thru many countries to get here when they should be intercepted before arriving . Our taxes go up to pay for all this.

I believe it was a temporary program introduced during the pandemic. This whole segment doesn’t delve enough into the background to be sure of exactly who this is going to effect and how. That’s just bad journalism. I’d like to know because I cross the path of many immigrants and care about them. If the federal government’s economic plans work out, there could be more demand for workers in the coming year, especially in and around Montreal - I also pay attention to announcements of companies setting up or expanding here - and this might be another example of the CAQ shooting themselves in the foot again. They seem oblivious that an election is coming next fall.

Canada’s government needs to check also about issuing the driver license. because i’ve heard that you can pay now to pass the driving test even all this people doesn’t know the rules or even following all the signs on the road. I’ve never seen so much car accident and too much car on the road. Why it is easy for them now to get a license. We need to remember driving in other country is not the same here. Also even your credit score is bad, even your salary is not good the car company gives you a car easily with hight interest. Thats also need to be check

If these companies can’t find workers, then why is our unemployment rate so high in 16 years?! It’s because they want cheap labour than to pay proper wages to a Canadian. If they up the pay, many unemployed would come forsure but not when paying peanuts

Integration is key for Canada as a multicultural country to coexist. Immigration needs reforming i.e.no cash jobs whatsoever, intl students will have to intl student fees, no handouts to asylum seekers who aren't from a war torn country. Highschoolers must be given priority in local jobs, it's up to the franchise owners to work their schedules up. It's ok if the cost of the product increases. This will help wages keep up with inflation. No free pregnancy trips, if you want to have your child born here make sure you pay up.

Canadians have always tried to be polite and welcome immigrants. People came here for a peaceful safe lifestyle and future but our leaders have allowed too many too fast and overwhelmed the system. Many immigrants that have arrived now don’t want a Canadian lifestyle they want to replace it with the system they left behind. Our leaders seem to support this and want working Canadians to pay for it. This is the anger that is festering as leaders ignore our concerns

Millions of people can’t buy food, homes, pay rent or even enjoy their lives. Drowning in debt for basic goods & we have tax payer money being wasted on this committee to potentially locate less than 50,000 people which reflects 0.12% of the population…. This money would have been better used giving low income ppl a random cash bonus 😩

Single family dwellings have now become low income rooming dwellings, 4-5 adults paying $500+ each to share a 1 bedroom condo in a so-called luxury condo, and of course buckets with cat litter is used for washrooms 😂
