I don't know anyone who is "divided" on this issue. Many of my friends are 1st gen immigrants, a couple of them had to go back to their home country after their visa expired, they were bummed that they personally couldn't stay, but they also openly complained that the levels of immigration was unsustainable, competition for rent/jobs/healthcare too high and felt that some people would have to go back home and it happened to be them.

Doesn't matter. There are groups of different nationalities migrating every dofferent global event that impacts them wanting to leave their home country. The world can be a better place. People in power don't want it to be. That's that.

Millions of people can’t buy food, homes, pay rent or even enjoy their lives. Drowning in debt for basic goods & we have tax payer money being wasted on this committee to potentially locate less than 50,000 people which reflects 0.12% of the population…. well, Canadians will wait eighteen hours in a waiting room with pleasure and not raise the issue because they are afraid of being called mean names. Is that what you are saying? Therefore, if that were the case the health, and safety of Canadians is in question because no one wants to see reality. Canada cannot save the world when the boat is sinking at home. Sad state of affairs and no one wants to address the dangers at home.

It's not right or tight yet. Lot of work needs to be done. Lot of people need to be sent back home. Unfortunately last 10 years immigration was done without any proper plans or objectives. We all agree to that.

I been a legal immigrants in a few countries (for work) and I would always adapt to the country im in. And I usually dont go to places that are from my native country. Im in the new country to experience that, if I want my native country things, I do it at home or go back to my country.

Young people who grew up here are particularly affected, as many cannot afford to leave their parents' homes, to pay rent, and eventually purchase their own houses. The number of immigrants must align with the health care and economic capacity of provinces to sustain the housing and job markets. Currently, this balance is disrupted, leading to consequences that impact everyone.

so what is Canada doing to send this people back home?

What the government needs to do,is if they were rejected send them home and if they hide don’t give them papers even if they get married just don’t give them, and if they were found working change their employers 100000 for each person with out papers

Same problem as pretty much everywhere in the western world at the moment. Mass migrations occur and consist of people who REFUSE TO ASSIMILATE. You can't just go to a foreign country and behave exactly like you did back home. There's different laws, social norms, cultural practices and expectations...

Snippet: Getting a college degree in native land should be less stressful than studying abroad -- as in studying in Canada or United States. Foreign countries and its schools would most likely have a higher standards and expectations foreign students might find more textually challenging and tuition-costly. Immigration or Immigrant Policy is an entirely separate entry into a foreign country vs. based on student's visa, which is timed. I would go back home and finish up school there and earn back home -- visiting other land temporarily is fine, but not live with them full-time. FYI - Canada & USA are brothers biologically -- they are Anglo-Saxon and owned both countries and everything in it. be blessed. nov2025

Im on Disability and have my own home, but thanks to our gov't making it SO expensive I am slowly being pushed out of my home. Guess I'll have to live in my car too.
