If I remember right canada first house crises was in the 19’s something and back then they started making more houses to resolved this problem………………..,… And I am thinking that getting immigrants from only 1 country might not be good, because of countries, society mentality…………. One Example ; a-lot people in the USA are strong guns advocate, if Canada only get people from the US and because the majority of Americans love their guns, they may advocate to have more guns freedom in Canada and teach their children guns loving mentality. So it is probably best to mix individual from various country to minimize this outcome. ………………. In any case immigration are very important for countries whom don’t make a lot of babies, to survive and stay strong in today’s world where weak countries are getting crushed by strong countries……………… what make countries strong is their population, where government take taxes to pay and buy defensive guns to defend a country without the need to go into dept and sell its soul to powerful countries. I visited Brampton over New Year's 2018. I couldn't believe how huge the Indian community was at the time. The weather was extremely brutal, so we didn't go out much. Everywhere we did go was ALL Indian! I was visiting a friend's family. I remember asking him if there were any cultural conflicts between the immigrants and the Canadians. At the time, it didn't seem to be a problem. Evidently, a lot has changed since then!

One of the biggest problems that wasn't talked about in this video is how is the housing crisis. Though we still accept immigrants into our country when we don't have the residential support for everyone.

Ive been here for alist 10 years. here's the general Canadian narrative everyone says: "when we came we worked hard, but tge new commers don't want to work." it's a false argument based on assumption. i think the main problem is actually the fake students. it has to do with the government and not the people.

I think it’s a rush decision. Canada needs skilled worker to fill labor shortage and should welcome people truly threatened by political persecution. The problem in Canada is treating large amount unskilled economical migrants as political asylum seekers.

As for healthcare I was in the hospital because I had a kidney transplant but I'm a Canadian citizen born here in Alberta and I was at 55 at the time I had some autoimmune but anyway of a big problem is the nurses this particular nurse that would let in a person the wife of a person that was from Croatia or somewhere that was getting a kidney machine to take home on the Canadian tax dollar and the nurse would let the wife come in after hours have dinner and sleep in an extra cot every night for 2 weeks they caught her they told her she had to find other accommodations and then there's kept letting her in after the doctors and other nurses went home a lot of the problem in healthcare is because we have all immigrants now as nurses because all their people that were doing it quit because of covid

The problem with Brampton is multiculturalism ended. Multiculturalism was always a point of pride for Toronto and all the cities around it. Brampton is the total opposite of multiculturalism.

It’s homes being treated like safety-deposit boxes for the global rich. Empty houses, speculative ownership, and capital parked in real estate do far more damage than newcomers ever could. Blaming immigration is just a convenient distraction from the real issue: housing has been turned into an investment vehicle instead of a place to live.

My parents immigrated to Canada from Portugal. They set about trying to be even more Canadian than someone born here. I have no problem with immigration, but I do start to when people refuse to adopt our customs and ways and just act as though they are still in India and don't respect Canada- the country they have moved to. They take advantage of our health care systems, benefits etc etc. I find it sad that Canada is starting to look nothing like the country I remember in my youth.

Looks like there is a lot of economic activity in the town, what’s the problem? With all the negatives it looks like it’s a net positive? Otherwise it would be a ghost town in no time. I’d suggest the immigrants who are setting up businesses to extend their employment to other racial groups. The government should screen better and slow or shut immigration down for some time.
