A friend of mine who immigrated here recently needed help looking for a place and I asked what her budget was for rent and she told me the government will cover up too $5,000 per month rent payments. When the Irish potato famine occurred, those Irish immigrants were called "filthy, lazy, not true whites". When the Italians immigrated, they were called "filthy, lazy, gangsters, not true whites". Then the Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese came.....the cycle continues. The colour of the skin doesn't define the immigrant lifestyle, a country's history and culture is not based on race alone. We are ever evolving. The issue with the current immigration system is that we have too many immigrants to accommodate, not that any specific group is bad.

No, there is a reasonable and very widespread expectation that the amount of immigration be limited to the number of people who can be accommodated without overwhelming every single capacity the country has. The previous liberal government's policies on this issue had been completely "pie in the sky", thanks entirely to Justin Trudeau. The man was completely incompetent.

Lena Diab is an embarrassment, and sadly, I say that as someone who lives in her riding and sees her up close (shame on my neighbours!). And I think we have to assume that she remains the Immigration Minister because Carney wants the file to be mismanaged, or he would replace her.

Time to correct the problem. No more immigrants coming in and shipping the ones here back to their homes. The ones here don't even have the brains to speak French or English. This is the fault of Canadians. The whole concept of Multiculturalism is a façade. What the hell did you all think would happen when you bring a bunch of people to the country but tell them they can hold on to their own beliefs and cultures? We have so many jobs that only hire immigrants my lil town I can’t even find a job I haven’t graduated and the one’s I can I need my graduate to get one and the jobs like Tim Hortons subway a&w grocery stores dollar store every job here only hire them it’s dumb I’ve been out a job for 3 years and the one’s that don’t hire kid’s cause it’s cheaper and people are starting to not want to live in Canada cause of it than you have prices going up housing going up
