I used to defend indians whenever a fellow construction worker is on them however now I don’t bother since most of them showed deep coldness and slick behaviour like racism towards blacks, natives and Asian, smear campaign on job sites to get other contractors fired and of course the job will most likely be handed to them. Was disgusted when realising that some of them are getting paid 13/hr. To be short, this people are terribly dreadful and malignant in so many ways just really good at hiding it. And I am also an immigrant.

It ain't an invasion. Canada depends on immigrants to maintain our population. The land who makes up Canada was originally stolen, so as a white Canadian, we have no right to decide where someone else can live. Everyone should be welcomed and supported here, regardless of their race, ethnicity, sex, faith, gender, sexuality, and physical or mental differences. Im a hindu born and raised in alberta. My family assimilated, we have canadian values. I have a business, pay my share of taxes. Im a contributing member of society. Not everyone is like that in my experience, I'm not from brampton but I'm sikh and I have sikh friends who are white and indigenous as well. The point he missed was the quality of life is higher in Canada, In India it's way easier, the cost of living is way cheaper, there's tons of cheap labour to hire maids for all your house work for example which is common in their culture, but as you've probably seen online, India isn't the cleanest or friendliest place to be, and if he was a nurse in India he would probably be broke without a good job, and having the opportunity to find good high paying jobs in something that Canadians also do when they travel to the US if a position in their field isn't available in whatever local city they grew up in. The main issue stems from international students from like after covid, regardless of country, India is in the spotlight because there's just more indians compared to other countries international students but its all the same stuff, you have kids from all over the world that might not have learned the same cultural practices, fresh 16-18 year olds living alone for the first time that have to do all their own chores and don't even know how to take care of themselves in some cases or do laundry or anything like that and it doesn't mean they were illegal immigrants or anything, just that they never put in the effort to learn because they were too entitled, its the same with entitled kids that go to Korea or Japan from north America as well that don't learn their culture and customs and misbehave because they are too entitled, and once you understand that you can see the bigger picture more clearly instead of just defaulting to racism. Also I'm not saying they can't be frustrated, its frustrating for everyone, even for me but racism isn't the answer.

The comments on this video makes me sick. As a Canadian it genuinely disturbs me to read all the extremely racist rhetoric from people who I think better of. The racism and sexism in Brampton is crazy, I have lived there basically my whole life and the fast rate this just kept on getting worse. So much my whole family had to move away because of this issue, and I legit have trauma from how people treated me at school.

I’m actually appalled at the racism in this video. People have a right to search for a better life for themselves. Why do you think white people ended up in Canada in the first place? It’s not their country. Immigrants are typically highly educated and pay Canada exorbitant amounts of money to move here and/or go to school here. They also take a loss because most of the time their university degrees are not recognized in this country. They swallow their pride and take jobs beneath them. Immigrants bring value to this country. They’re extremely intelligent and hard working. In my 34 years living here not once have I seen ANY Indians or Africans in shelters or on the streets.

As someone who lived in Brampton for several years, I learned that in the Indian culture they must look out for their own first. As a Black person looking to rent a place, it was extremely disheartening (I’m experiencing racism from people darker than me?!). Eventually one landlord told me what was up - they must help their own people and essentially only rent to other Indian people. You see it in all the companies where you have an Indian hiring manager - they are biased to employing only their own. I was left no choice but to leave Brampton.
