Why is it that 90% of these people are Punjabi Sikhs? Canada has been supporting Sikh seperatists to fund the cause back in India. Even other Indians dont like this. As a Sikh, born and raised in the US, this is an opinion I've had since this KHALISTAN stuff began. We go to Canada if we miss India, because it's basically become MINI PUNJAB LOL. Another note. The Khalistan topic is all nonsense. I don't know why SO MANY CANADIAN BORN and AMERICAN BORN SIKHS support or push for this. IF YOU PLAN TO MOVE BACK TO KHALISTAN, for sure support it. Don't push an issue you would not commit to. Plus, no foreign born would comfortably move to KHALISTAN, if it existed, due to the lack of opportunities. My parents left India for the lack of opportunities (legally). They knew Punjab has no future, since the Indian nation shrunk it's state borders, and we become a LAND LOCKED state. If this LAND LOCKED COUNTRY were to be established, everything would be ridiculously expensive, and Khalistan would be lucky to become as "successful" as EXPENSIVE Switzerland. It's illogical to support Khalistan on an economic standpoint.

I am an indian, genuinely speaking, when I came here back in 2023, I didn’t know there are so many people from one of the indian state called punjab. They have ruined this place as well as image of all Indians. Also, If you want khalistan, why they are not protesting in where their land belongs(so called), why in Canada or Usa? There are 70% of the people are living in canada is punjabi. They have ruined the image of our whole country. We are peace loving people and follow rules but just because of these people, we fell into the same group. Fun fact: why brampton and surrey have bad reputation and increased crime rates because punjabi people live there. Thats heart wrenching. The other aspect is the Canadian government doing nothing to curb thia types of people instead of that these people do crime, get arrested, claim asylum, get free food for 1 year and become the resident of the Canada. Just a small word here. Khalistan sikh are not Indian Sikh. They are people who are wanted for various crimes even in India. They have criminal records and India has been requesting Canadian government to deport some of these people to undergo trial in India but Trudeau govt under jagmeet Singh did not agree and so you have crimes happening in Canada but the bad name goes to India.
