These comments are jokes … I’m a born and raised Canadian who’s parents came here in the 1960 to British Columbia , Brampton is beautiful city a lot of this hate towards it is just racism .. go to Markham filled with Chinese’s who’s stores names are written in their language they even had police station setup , go to Mississauga area filled with Arabs, go to parkdale filled with Philippines and Tibetan … every city in this country has sub section of communities and if people have issue with immigration go and complain to the government that’s allowing it to happen by selling false dreams … immigration is open to anyone as long as you have the money to support your stay here along with the necessary paperwork… plus half of the people complaining about jobs go and ask manager why they hire international kids .. cause they actually show up to work since they gotta work had to pay for high cost of living.. unlike most of the Canadian born kids that will call in sick cause they stayed up until 3 playing video games , it has nothing to do with skin color but work ethics

I agree with the these people's comments regarding the immigration issues. I've been Canadian for over 50 years and this is the worst I've seen or experienced here in this country. Why are we as major tax payers are forced to finance the lives of these people who are only here to take from us, not give back in any way for us who supported them coming in to feel it's been a good decision made by our government, from our pockets. They do also bring their war, stealing, lying, scamming with them, creating more division with us who were living peacefully before. There's so much more that I see and experience now, that makes me want to leave, and it shouldn't be me who leaves home for others who have no good intentions.

I was born here in Canada in 1969 and since Justin Trudeau took over as our government, everything just went downhill. I also very upset with our government bringing in millions of Immigrants and giving large handouts of of our Canadian tax dollars to support the new immigrants that our coming into Canada. Why is the government giving large hand outs to these Indian immigrants instead of helping us true Canadians who helped built this Country. It is a dam shame to see what the Liberal Government our doing to this country of ours were many are homeless, high cost of living and the high crimes that happens every day in Canada and what does the government do is let these criminals back into our streets where us true Canadians do not feel safe any more. The one thing that pisses me off is seeing is all these new immigrants coming into Canada by the thousands that are taking away our Canadian entry jobs like Walmart, McDonalds and A & W fast food restaurant where as our young born Canadian students and others can not find a job to help them pay for there school loans and get a good education degree. We need to put a stop to this. For enough is enough before our Liberal Government destroys our country.

I live on $800 a month and I am much too disabled to work and I don’t have family. In addition, I’ve been told I’m not eligible for rent gear to income, but it’s not like I’m going to get well. Anyway, it seems people don’t like to put out for others and I get it because the folks at the top are always happy to see the little guys tear each other apart. None of our politicians have ever voluntarily Given up a pay cut to support those who can’t work any longer or who never could. That would be the pro life thing to do. They’re always voting themselves big raises.

My parents came to Canada over 30 years ago with employable skills and money to support ourselves. We go through Canadian education system, get Canadian jobs and pay Canadian taxes. We still celebrate our own heritage with food and holiday but we do them in our own house. Not sticking into people’s faces. I feel that’s how immigration should be like. Not hordes of illegals and refugees that ruins our society and cost us loads of tax payer dollars. Now with Canada being India land, I’ll have no choice but leave this country eventually, I’ll have no choice but finding a better place to retire.

I do not agree with melding pot beliefs. the people being brought in to my country are NOT TRYING TO MERGE OR ADAPT “OUR” way of life. Better Rules for coming to this Country need to be implemented. like No banking outside of our banking system. no owning property until they have been in Canada for 15 years and have proven that they Support Canada not the country they Left and didn’t bother to try and work on. The actions of few spoiled Indians affect the entire Decent Indian community and India. Canada is in need of labour force due to less population and India has more population but insuffient jobs to engage people. If this scenario is reversed Indians would be complaining like canadians do. So the problem is not one way, just becos reducing immigrants does not solve the issue. people have to see things past nationality or physical identity into the statistics. even though canada has professionals of their own there are people who work with dedication and who work without interest, or recent generation being attracted to digital life instead of understanding that college degrees in mainstream subjects are what earns them job and also they have to show dedication and hardwork along with smart work, comply by the work place rules and so on... this goes to all invariable of who they are. all these started changing and now people instead of trying to correct these small changes that lead to these large issues of cost of living and low wages, have now started to pit against live people and their race, nationality or culture. There are good and bad people eveyrwhere, people cant justify the actions of drug addicts roaming the streets and that has increased a lot now, people acting violently against others just becos they dont have what the other has, and so on. but instead of addressing the high amount of actions that are happening around our own country, it has become easy to put blame on each other. I am not justfying the actions of these bad indians who has done these stuff. but we have to see the other side of it before making this a International Issue. Yes, few Indians are bad but not the entire community. Canada has its own needs that needs a lot of hands and support. The problem is not the immigrants. The problem is with Canadian leaders, and the Canadians who elected and reelected them to office. I lived in Nova Scotia for just over 2 decades. I attempted to have many discussions about these issues and was shocked by the generally vapid responses I'd get. Much more to say, but the main point is that Canadians have destroyed their own country's quality of life and from what I can see, Canada is not worthy of respect as a nation. I take ZERO pleasure in saying this. However, the country should have provided the United States with a up close example of what a well run social democratic nation looks like. Just asking how the indigenous people felt as a minority because of influx in f Europeans. And how does the Pakistan people assimilate by wearing hijab and demanding halal at every food joint. I don’t support illegal immigration of India or Africans. I don’t want to pay for people’s hotel room who came here on fake refugee status. But we shouldn’t only target only one community. Please check which community has more kids for ccb and comes as asylum to every western country. And the Indian students who came probably didn’t get a chance in Indian colleges.

Videos like these would be nicer if you did research/fact-checked people's statements. I know the purpose is to get the POV of the general populace, but it sucks hearing at the end of the video "Well, idk why" when you could improve the quality of the video by supporting or rejecting claims people make. Also, asking more balanced questions instead of biased ones is another way you can improve. For example, no difficult questions or claims against the anti-immigration Canadians were given - they were basically just asked "why do you think this?" On the other hand, the pro-immigration migrants were given questions regarding claims made by the anti-immigrant Canadians - which again was never fact checked by your team. It's difficult and feels like a waste of time when we're just hearing testimony - as important as each individual's story is - but without any critical thinking or research applied.

I'm an Indian but I don't support invading a whole country as a swarm and transforming that place like their homeland literally making the actual natives uncomfortable. If you wanna live in that place , just respect the people's culture , religion and appreciate the rational space they actually provide . Um so tired of going to a store all immigrants working. Make a phone call it's answered by an immigrant. You can't understand them . I love on ccpd I don't get old age pension yet. I'm too old to get the child tax credit and I'm on a Canada pension disability. I get 713.00 a min to live on. Period. That's it. 😢😢😢 I struggle every day. I live in a seniors housing complex..so my rent is adjusted to fit my income. Thank God for housing I'd be homeless if it wasn't for them. 😢😢 But the immigrants have money. Have jobs. Drive new cars. Get free rent for a year. I waited 9.5 hours at the emergency😢😢 not the Indians they have Indian drs that work there for them. How in the hell is this ok. I ended up leaving the emergency I couldn't wait any longer. I sat there in pain all that time and two Indian families came in during that time and within 20 min at the most they were in and out. They even have an advertisement in the emergency room in their language with all the Indian drs working there. Wtf is going on. I'm tired of seeing these people. They are opening businesses here. Everything you see now is written in English, French and Indian. They call it our third language now. There are building going up that have only immigrants in them. A d I live in a small town but the city. Come on. They stopped saying the Lord's prayer in schools. They can't say Merry Christmas. Christmas concerts are called Holliday concerts now. The damage is done. Liberals ruined this country and let us down. They are just importing their voters. In 10 years they’ve been in power they created tones of new citizens to vote for them. I’m a first generation immigrant. The selection process for us was extremely hard. We were well educated professionals with university degrees, healthy (checked), had to provide funds allowing us to live for at least 6 months without any support from welfare organizations, no OHIP for 3 months. Why has this system been changed? How do all these people without education, money or skills coming here? Why our country is flooded with illegal immigrants? I love Canada dearly. It’s my home now. I’m a proud Canadian. And I’m very sed to watch my country decline like that. Shame on you Liberals.

I am shocked to hear this from a CBC reporter saying IMMIGRANTS get money from the government!! Where on earth did you get this ,outrageous information!! People who apply to come to Canada as legal immigrants , have to go through a strict points system.that can take years . Plus medical and security checks. They have to speak English or French , be educated and most of all have a skill ,trade or profession that Canada needs!as Canada does not have enough highly skilled workers. Like IT professionals, doctors ,engineers, nurses etc. They have to have a job offer .etc etc .They have to have the means to support themselves and their family . I came here as immigrant and enhanced my knowledge, I went to study and enabled myself to find a job. By God grace and especially Canadian people support I have a job and a roof. Our laws about accepting refugees and asylum seekers need to get better. These new comers are changing Canadas as I write this. Our Canadian ways are being disregarded and disrespected. And allowing this new comers to dictate how they can live here. It’s not like what it was where we need to be qualified to live and immigrate to Canada. Now these new comers are trashing our parks, scamming good samaritans, scheming to get support from our government, and lastly, changing the demographics in Canada. Our laws need a better champion so the majority of good law abiding, good hearted, true Canadian citizens a better Canada. A Canada that allows good lawful immigrants to create a good future for their families. Adapting to our Canadian ways like , qualifying for work base on knowledge, skill, adaptability, acceptance, tolerance, and the heart to show love not on the base of the color of your skin, religion, nationality, gender, or creed. Canada is so much more and shouldn’t be changed by new comers that want to push their ways, beliefs, religion and agenda for their own benefit. I love the voices of new immigrants who support Canada but they are not all. Many come just to take advantage. Those are the ones I fear. The ones who plan to take over and spread violence. I find Indian and Chinese are hardworking honest people but there will always be thieves and bad people among every culture. We need to reduce the quanity and increase the quality of the ones we allow here. We need to support our own first.
