I don't even recognize Brampton anymore, used to be more multiculture now it's just dominated by one type of culture. Honestly, not just Brampton, if you go to Markham, you will find that more asian culture is dominating, if you go to North York, you will find more Jewish culture dominating. So there are plus and minus to this. but sad part is people are forgetting Canadian culture in this whole mess. As a immigrat who came to Canada many years ago, i find the last few rounds (2021 - 2025) that came from India are just wild people, no manners, only speak in their own language, and act superior. Sadly not everyone is like that but there are many.

I love Canada more than any other place since l was accepted here being stateless , My little family has no other culture , we embraced a canadian one and we are confident to have well chosen!

Its sad cause there are lovely people from both india and china here that want to live and thrive in canada and be canadian, they dont want the country they left. But for some reason liberal politicians think they need to bring in people from these places who hate us and want to change things. I feel bad for the people who came here to be here genuinely. Nobody can afford anything here now because of being overrun

Btw i live in India and have no plans on migrating anywhere. It ain't great here but if we all keep leaving for greener pastures, it won't ever get better. We literally have a Visa temple in South India where people go to pray for their Visas to get approved. It's extremely sad honestly.

I have nothing against immigrants and immigration but we need to respect each other’s religion and culture and we should not impose our views on others. I believe in practicing your religion and act upon your values, as long as you are not bothering others, while doing so. The government has really messed up beautiful Canada, within this past decade. The sad reality is that if our government wasn't taxing our young Canadians to death from the moment they get started at attempting to build a future for themselves, the young Canadians would actually be putting thought into having children and starting families. But the reality is they can't afford it and everyone knows that our young Canadians don't make the list of government handouts. As a child immigrant to Canada, I am absolutely disgusted with what we've turned into and how easy it is for today's immigrants to come here, it's like spitting in the faces of immigrants like my parents and many others who had to work their asses off to be here and make a life for themselves and their kids. Every older generation immigrant I have spoken with says they feel like all of their sacrifice was for nothing. When we immigrated here, we kept our traditions, but we also embraced Canadian traditions and I passed our traditions onto my child, but she was raised Canadian and she embraces both. Our whole family has been proudly Canadian since the day we came here and it breaks our hearts to see what our Canada has become. As someone who is born in Canada as an Indian. This is absolutely sad to here. I want the best for Canadians who are born and raised here. I have 10 years of experience working in the nation I was raised and I am having some people have my job who aren't even fit for the job. It makes no sense to me. Our wages have stalled due to international students for a better life, but at the end I want money just like other Canadians who have been here for ages. Also we need to end why our government allows lucrative hiring contracts overseas for cheaper positions in certain degrees and diplomas. In addition, why are all of our call centers placed all over the world. From Africa, south east Asia, South Asia. Those jobs can be available here. We can have a decomcratic country if our country didn't care about just "growth" we didn't need more immigration. We needed systematic change in government, schools, common sense, I could go on. I think us as Canadians don't know how corrupt the world really is. Look at other countries and how they work. It's lucrative essentives to benefit only certain people. I would rather have our tax payer money be used to fix the system. My dad's been here since the 1980s and he is sad for everyone. This is a loss on both ends. We didn't create new universities, new highways to support the population, no hospitals, new schools. I remember when my class sizes were 18 to 20 kids. We need change, not radical because we were never that. Let's do what we do best and be Canadians for us first.

Also, did you see the reply to the Filipino student who voiced frustration? “You guys make up some of the most cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been to.” That kind of response speaks to a lack of respect for international students. To many in the Canadian workforce, international students and migrants are treated as disposable labor — steered toward low‑ and middle‑income jobs. Yes, fraud should be dealt with, but it’s lazy and unfair to claim that all Indians or international students come here through fraud. If that logic ruled, we’d have to start deporting every non‑Indigenous person — which ignores the whole reality of colonization.

If we really see the forest for the trees... This is a worldwide agenda... To.. create a helplessness around the socio economic politics.. to even out the playing field of... Everyone.. & the lack of judicial reform.. to ensure Chaos.. & the eventual Militarized police officers... & The acceptance of law and...Dis. order..... . This really ruins it for the people who appreciate the opportunity for Canadian citizens who really do wish to be legitimate taxpayers & actually work.... ... Just another example of how the government is utterly COMPLICIT in denigrating the Judicial SYSTEM... ... .... This is not a Party Partisanship issue... . It is the.. weakening of our system as a whole... ... As we have seen... The demographics of crime... Is an extreme issue... Not to be taken lightly.... This is beyond sad... It is sheer Apathy.. of the Canadian government to... Protect against outside influences.... Perhaps we might consider that.... ... Some people don't have a creed of .. Civil obedience... Our laws must change... & Radically... As .. some are just given to the thoughts of... Scamming the system... & Trying to get away with.. whatever they can... We need actual... Yet we send billions to Ukraine while Canadian's can't afford food, shelter let alone pay bills. Canadians get punished for hard work and any additional income is subjected more taxes. Sad reality.

My parents immigrated to Canada from Portugal. They set about trying to be even more Canadian than someone born here. I have no problem with immigration, but I do start to when people refuse to adopt our customs and ways and just act as though they are still in India and don't respect Canada- the country they have moved to. They take advantage of our health care systems, benefits etc etc. I find it sad that Canada is starting to look nothing like the country I remember in my youth.

Between immigrants and other countries that take tax money from the system is the reason why we are in the situation we are in. You may say why is that. I say the billions of dollars spent elsewhere could be spent on the people where it was taken from in the beginning. Canadians could be not living under the poverty rate or homeless or this opioid addiction do you know how much the medication cost for suboxone or methadone 375 a month. Meanwhile the cost for a prescription of hydromorphone cast 130 to 150 a month. So sick of how much money goes on this big opioid crisis and how much it could be helped. Housing homelessness could be solved. The list goes on the billions of dollars could help the Canadian people's. Mental health is at an all-time high what do you think people are going to do soon mabe look at the fires that happened purposely. Or soon to be homegrown terrorists. All because of spending tax money carelessly add not giving the citizens what they deserve. Sad butt it's inedible.

I am from India came to Canada legally (gone through 7 months of processing and waiting , submitted countless documents , photos , chat history to prove relation status and professional experience, literally submitted all my life story) to obtain PR and come to Canada just to realize that people without any of these come from different parts of the world especially India bypassing the system and living better life working cash jobs and doing random stuff. When i went to take driving license first time, An Indian origin guy rejected my application saying that my Indian License wasn't looking original enough , where I have seen people who couldn't even speak basic English were applying to get license to drive trucks. It is sad to see how many of our people are bringing a lot of 'Indianness' to this country and live like it is their own turf. I have met many young and middle aged individuals who call themselves students who doesn't even have a clue of what they are studying. It is unbelievable how people of certain status live their life partying and enjoying breaking all sort of rules , dropping out of college etc. when people who are here legally and many Canadians struggling to pay rent / mortgages / insurances etc. Don't even want to talk about job security , its a joke. Finally happy to see someone raising voice.

My mother came to Canada in 1965 with her family. She learned how to speak english by watching kids shows on TV. She had 4 girls by 1979. She could speak fluent English by that time. We lived in low rentals with other immigrants. It was all about one another. The many different cultures came together and shared. We were all dirt poor, but we all accepted one another for who we are. No one was better than another. Every kid I grew up with was a tried and true Canadian. Every single one became a citizen if they weren't born here. We all learned from one another. This Canada? It's not the Canada I know. I was born in Ontario. Many of my family members are still there. They're looked down upon. What? They're Canadians but they're looked down upon for being in that same small town. It's Sad. We need another peaceful protest in Ottawa. Save our Canada.

It's sad to see what has happened to our immigration system. It's not sustainable and not just not only for Canadian citizens but also for the new immigrants that arrive and can't find work or afford rent.

From the UK, learning about the same problems our Canadian brothers face is sad but interesting. Its almost refreshing to see the patterns and that I'm not crazy , but its very sad all the same. Sending many blessings x

As a Canadian I'm so sad what our country has become, its heartbreaking 💔. Unfortunately we let everyone and their family in and our country has never been worse. No one can drive, Healthcare, our environment is being destroyed from them all. If you move here then change how you are as a person, learn the traditions of the country and respect it. Please pray for us

well, Canadians will wait eighteen hours in a waiting room with pleasure and not raise the issue because they are afraid of being called mean names. Is that what you are saying? Therefore, if that were the case the health, and safety of Canadians is in question because no one wants to see reality. Canada cannot save the world when the boat is sinking at home. Sad state of affairs and no one wants to address the dangers at home.

I have many Indian friends who came to Canada over the years. My friends’ families came here for a better life, to integrate into Canadian society, to adopt our values and have started successful businesses based on those shared values. Sadly things seem to have shifted in the past 10 years…

Many Canadians have pulled their RVs out of northern New York and are finding spots in Ontario instead. Sad that it will affect decent American businesses but there will be many unexpected consequences to the erratic behaviour of the Trumpet.
