I feel very sad because, in the end, all immigrants end up paying the price for the bad attitudes of a few. I speak especially from the perspective of Latin American immigrants: we are not the majority in Canada, but we come with the intention of adapting, of including ourselves in the local culture, and of contributing the best we can. What hurts is seeing that some other groups arrive with a different attitude: instead of integrating, they want to impose their culture, their religion, even their body odors, and if you make a face or express discomfort, they immediately take it as “discrimination.” It is not fair that, for example, my child should stop bringing meat in his lunch just because another child bullies him saying he is “a filthy sinner.” Inclusion should be mutual, an effort on both sides, not a one-sided demand.

Give back the part time jobs to Canadian teens so they can afford to go to school and send home the 8 million immigrants that came into the country during the time of Trudeau and Carney. I worked for an Indian couple and they would drive to the other side of town to visit other Indian stores, pharmacies, doctors, restaurants. When it became obvious why they did it… I stopped working for them.

I am an immigrant & am just speechless at the decay! Living here for over 18 yrs, this wasn't what we met when we first arrived. When we came here, we schooled & worked.... Now you can't find any job. I lost my job in June.... And until now I can't find another. It was tough to get EI agreed to pay me a few weeks for the same money they collected from my pay. Somebody should tell the Liberal govt to stop bringing people pls.
