Speaking as a black immigrant. Brampton is the first place and only thus far where I have experienced racism. It was the worst 2 years of living here...high car insurance cause they keep meeting in accidents...deliberately and by accident. They are nasty. Don't follow rules. Don’t get injured, get any older or anything like that and unable to work in this country now as you’re much better off passing away.

A friend of mine who immigrated here recently needed help looking for a place and I asked what her budget was for rent and she told me the government will cover up too $5,000 per month rent payments. I was blown away and this is a single young woman who barely speaks English friend or not this is ridiculous.
