Being proud of one’s country is good, but discarding another nation’s (especially the one you immigrate to) culture and customs and continuing to follow your own, even considering them better, that’s when the problem begins. as a Canadian our immigration system used to be the gold standard now its a warring to other nations what not to do.

I see this video as an Indian living happily in India. My neighbourhood is as clean as any Western nation's, if not better. The civic sense is improving (still a way to go). I hope Canadians get to live the way they want.

This feels 6-8 years too late, You could even argue it as far back as 2010. We should've never kept our numbers at such high of a % of our population, it should've always been focused industries only such as agriculture. Instead our business model is basically : Cheap Labour via Worker Visas, Housing Market due to quick and massive population boost and Student Visas making them pay 3.5x more than regular students that encourages post-secondary schools to choose international over domestic which may also have long-term consequences as we see many immigrants go back to their home or take their degree to a higher paying nation.

I feel bad that many of these people were given false hope, but this reduction was needed. In the early 2020's immigration levels reached levels that were simply too high. We had a population growth rate similar to Sudan. It strained our education, health care and prevented young people from getting jobs. We are a nation that welcomes immigration, but it cannot be at a level beyond our capacities.

Everyone saying they dont assimilated should be practicing First Nation traditions and lifestyles, since they were the original people here and when the settlers came they should have assimilated to their culture.

Im sure the first nations and n.ative Canadians felt exactly the same way 500 years ago 😂😅😅

Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba (SAM) 7. I got a question about provinces from west to east on Canada map. Please look and memorize the provinces locations. 8. Got a question about Peace Arch in Blaine 9. Question about Peace Tower like what was built after first world War. 10. Question about Aboriginals. Ans: First Nations, Metis and Inuits 11. Branches of Parliament Ans: Sovereign, House of commons and Senate 12. Courts do: Ans: Settle disputes These all what I remember. I am not sure which ones I got wrong. Might be in the first 5 I posted here. Test is not difficult but it is better to go through this video multiple times and do some other mock tests as well, in my opinion. first nations should also have a say in immigration

I came here 25 years ago from India. While growing up, I would go to the terrace of my home and turn the antenna to get Cbc at night. I watched Air Farce One, the green show, NFB and Cbc and was always fascinated with Canada. I knew then when I was 20 that I will make Canada home. I wrote my IELTS ENGLISH test, studied here with good grades. And I did. I have an amazing career and young kids. And I have loved everyday of it. I have watched rerun of trailer park boys about 10 or so times already, watched Corner gas, watch hockey, I have embraced the weather, the people and the values this nation stands for. I have travelled coast to coast and to the great north. Heck I have been to more places in Canada with my job than other Canadians who are born and raised here. Now all I see there these ignorant, entitled effs thinking they can come and change the way of life. Like how Don Cherry said, they want the milk and honey but won't respect the values. I am effing done with this immigration and the government. Steven Harper was the prime minister when I got my citizenship and it was the proudest moment of my life. I really hope Canadians wake up. I know exactly why the racism has gone up and I don't blame the Canadians at all. These clowns bought it on to themselves. I just had enough and wish things would back to how it was 20 or so years ago.

Thank you for your commitment to hearing many sides of the story. My brother is a journalist in NYC and he also amplifies voices that are so often drowned out by louder, flashier ones. As a Canadian, who was born in South Africa, but have grown up in BC since elementary school, I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity this country has given my family. We all work hard to build on the values shared in this nation. I love learning about aspects of Canada that I am unfamiliar with, but ultimately help shape its identity. 🙏

Canadian gov has opened much of the international students for Indians, if only they did a fair ratio between other nationalities that issues now would have been controlled, if I am not mistaken, they let 250k per yr for India, rest of the international students are just 25k per yr each coming from different countries.

I certainly don’t have any problems with most of these people on an individual level. However when the demographic radically change and there is not enough infrastructure to support people and assimilation is not happening it becomes a severe impediment to a flourishing nation.

A shortage of fast food workers is not a national emergency

The national school food program is definitely worthwhile. There’s a lot of children out there whose parents are short on time and cash to provide proper nutrition. It’s a terrible sad thing we should consider bringing back home economics into the classroom.
