Honestly as an Indian (tamil-nadu) I genuinely don't think anything Tyler does is racist. I am an international student in canada doing hons finance and doing my cfa this sem. do I think all indians are bad.. no not at all, but the ones that push their religion on others are most definetly bad and lack at civic sense. Punjabis get a lot of hate cuz 70% of them faked their student visas and got here, same goes for any tamil and indian or any country YOU CANNOT DO SOMETHING ILLEGALY THEN DEMAND TO BE TREATED THE SAME AS A LEGAL CIVILLIAN. and then there are people with no civic sense. it is wild

Honestly, if yt Canadians weren't so racist, Indians would'nt have had the opportunity to take over. But as soon as they see Indians or other non whites moving into the neighborhood, they pick up and leave. This created space for the Indians to come in and occupy. First of all, Tyler is a hardworking journalist and I respect that, however a lot of this video was wildly ignorant, from almost everyone involved, including from him. This is cheap views unfortunately. It paints a very bad perspective for all the genuinely hardworking citizens and residents of Indian origins, why not show that side of them too? There’s obviously actual students who come to study and provide for the community while also maintaining their own culture? What’s wrong with that? Besides, what is a Canadian culture if not a mix of immigrants from all around the world? Are white people also not just immigrants to this country or did they magically spawn in this place? They’ve committed ATROCITIES (not just in Canada), yet have the audacity to act like they’re the cleanest ones in the land. While I do agree some Indians do not improve the reputation, most are really kind, helpful and honest people. Perhaps treat everyone like humans for a change instead of using the bad ones as a benchmark. PS, cutting to the ugly streets when someone mentions Punjab is probably the cheapest attention grab, obviously there’s bad streets, ugly roads, gross people everywhere but so are beautiful ones, lovely countryside views, beautiful mountains and most of all, very hardworking and respectful people as well. Your view of Punjab is just NOT the same as the one of the people in the video who view their motherland as a beautiful place. You can portray every place in the world in that light with the wrong perspective, be it New York, Paris, Barcelona, Cairo, Sydney, Rio, London, etc, but it must be nice to get a few more looks at the expense of demeaning others.

Thats my home town and most people move away. Its honestly abusive and sad, its happening in every city surrounding brampton. Within a decade growing up i was the only non indian or middle eastern in my classes in school. To the point where u cant get a job cant rent a place because they cater to their own race. Allot are decent people but when your told u have to speak hindi to get a job. Its discriminatory and biased. They're racist towards anyone from a diffrent race period, i watched the city fall into an ethnoburb and i refuse to feel like a minority in my own home town.

As an Indian I am completely ashamed of the way Indians are representing our country outside and honestly I understand the point of view from the Canadians ,when u migrate to another country you are supposed to adjust to their culture and their principles but unfortunately these people have turned it into a mini india there which simantaneously affects a lot of Indians who live outside as well because they have to deal with stereotypical and racial comments.I am completely against the way they celebrate our festivals outside its a nuisance to both the countries.

As a white Canadian in a skilled trade who has lost 100's of thousands in work to lower bids from East Indians it honestly makes me wanna apply for M.A.I.D I worked for four years In a apprenticeship to get my redseal these guys come work for three months at the union's an they leave start their own company it's only 150$ for a business license in Canada and than they cut my throat a job worth 80 a sheet for hang tape an paint they come an bid at 15$ a sheet! But is at fualt for this, is the level in which the people coming sometimes do know the fruad going on through the government and seem to tihnk they are entitled. But not their fualt at the end of the day.. And the only thing I would be angry about is, one if I was already living there and there wasnt some vote to let it happen. And in that case, if there was, then its really on the community for not saying no. Not Canada per se, but baised on my coworkers even the Indians have Indian fatigue now. Especially with the older skilled Indians workers who have aasemulated into the country and came here the honest way. They're always complaining how it's now so easy to get into the country, with relaxed polices and poor vetting and how these newer influxes do not like to assemulate into their new country, and bring their bad practices over here. And annoyed why are importing non skilled workers when locals are struggling for jobs, describing why we do not need more Uber drivers and mc donalds workers. They're were telling me there's recently been a large influx buying their degrees for like $10k and getting here on skilled visas without thorough checks. because of relaxed policies as a result of our majority of young skilled citizens here leaving the country in record numbers since COVID.
