Im a hindu born and raised in alberta. My family assimilated, we have canadian values. I have a business, pay my share of taxes. Im a contributing member of society. I went through all the racism when I was a kid and even recently when I was told to "go back to my own country" in traffic. It disgusts me that because of these indian peoples unwillingness to assimilate, my kids will go through the same thing..

Housing impossible to find and prices astronomical. No jobs available to it's OWN CITIZENS. Canadians getting scammed by noncitizens. The landscape obliterated by trash and human excrement. Hospitals overwhelmed by non citizens leaving Canadians behind. Low birth rate due to unaffordability. There are actually areas in Canada that don't speak either official language. I can't even enter a shoppers drug mart without being assaulted by horrible body odor coming from the temporary foreign workers. END THE TFW PROGRAM. Farms are the only areas where it is needed. Canadian gov says we need to increase population... But not of it's own citizens. So they made it impossible for it's citizens to afford children and then dumped all of India into our country. IM SICK OF IT.

tbh if much of the indian diaspora in canada are just indian muslims and indian christians then the canadians would be more happy as even just the indian christians alone are ppl that the native canadians themselves can easily connect with due to canada's long term history as a christian majority country and canada once condemned india for killing sikhs in its own territory and idk how will the native canadians react if much of indian diaspora are the country's minorites such as muslims, christians, sikhs and etc rather than majority hindus and this is already something that kinda exists in canada although much of the indian diaspora unfortunately are just hindus rather than the country's minorities but ofc not telling im from india or not cuz im not willing to reveal what country im from ;-;

Canadians im coming there too, i am a British Sikh man. But i have no intentions on living in Brampton or any other densely populated city with Indians and Muslims. The biggest problem is they come to our home to escape a hell in their own country. But then they try to turn our country into the one they ran from. Now im watching teens unable to gain independence unless their parents i Know someoneone who can hire them meanwhile no one can understand the person taking their order at tim hortons...Canada is to expensive now and we dont have the means to support these people anymore. What invasion? We all came here legally with passports and valid visas. WE work jobs, help our community, isnt that canadian enough? Im from northeast india...in this region we have the system call inner line permit where it restricts others indian from immigrating to this region within india itself...so just get your act together canadians...we had to bear the brunt of communal attacks,and so many violent death against punjabis and bengalis

Im a Canadian citizen (born in Toronto) who hasn't lived in Canada for over a decade. I left and declared non-resident status. I visit nearly every summer, spending around $8-10k a trip as well as sending money back to support my parents in Ottawa. I get nothing from Canada, and rightly so. I have to purchase my own health insurance when coming back. That's completely okay with me because I haven't paid into the system for over 10 years. How in the hell is someone who hops over the border with no previous ties to Canada entitled to ANYTHING though? They should be shipped back to their country of origin and duties assessed on any imports from that country should be raised to cover those costs or some other method of recouping that money should happen.

I am sorry you guys are going through this. If i was Canadian going through all this, I would be upset. Canadian government should make decisions that best benefits it's people. I love Canada from my first visit as a child. Canada was different then from what you are describing today. So sorry immigrants are destroying your country. Im saddened by this

i live in bolton, have for 35 years .im pretty much next to brampton, which was always very indian, and that was fine. but its drastically changed in the past 10 years for the very very worst. were still sort of ok in bolton right now but it's happening fast. edit: brampton used to be full of indians that wanted to be canadian, now its just disrespectful ones that want brampton to be india

THANK YOU FOR SHEDDING LIGHT ON THIS!!! This is getting crazy. Brampton used to be SOOO beautiful. And also, Africans taking over shelters isnt true. Shelters are too full because our cost of living has gone up and Canadians (as i am one) are struggling to make a living. Thats why you see people in tents because the shelters are WAY too full (and im also speaking from experience I was previously homeless in Toronto/Brampton and now am a Community Service Worker dealing with people in Shelters and Addictions).
