Does anyone else feel like a minority in the town they were born. I was pulled over by the RCMP not long ago. They were both East Indians. One of which could barely speak proper English. I had an East Indian friend with me. I was interrogated more about being with an Indian woman than I was for speeding. They didn’t even care about my speed but pulled me back to their cruiser and kept questioning my intentions with the woman. Was fucking terrifying! So I went to the detachment to complain. I don't hate the immigrants themselves, but the way our country handles immigration. I'll be the first to admit it's getting harder to keep those two things separate. What compounds that hate is since I've been looking at moving out of this country... it's disheartening that most countries (rightfully so) make you have to be able to both assimilate and afford to fend for yourself to get a immigrants visa. And I guess Canada isn't enough of a shithole to get refugee status... yet. Like many Canadians now, I'm living cheque to cheque to make ends meet. I wouldn't like immigration to my country too and seing my way of life change...but we should give credit to the Sikhs who feed people free of charge...i experienced their generosity way back in 2005 in London when my friend took me along to a gurdwara,my first time .
