Immigration not problem , i am immigrant and now Canadian citizen i used to save money, now i have no money whatever i earn go into bills. Soo much of tax. I can’t even rent a basement maybe just a room. I told everyone not to come to canada. My brother payed 40,000$ in education with single day job. So he thinking going back nothing here. And its everywhere not just in canada

The Hindus and Sikhs I just saw in this video were genuinely kind and accommodating. They offered free food, treated the anchor and cameraman with courtesy, and showed great warmth. At the end of the day, we are all humans first. These communities work hard, take on labor, and steadily climb the ladder—there’s nothing wrong in that.

I’ve lived in Canada for 30 years, but I became unemployed in 2021. This is the first time I’ve been out of work for more than a year and a half. I’ve applied online for over 20 jobs, but unfortunately I haven’t received any responses. This has never happened to me before. When I first came to Canada, it felt very safe—you could even leave your door unlocked at night. Things have changed a lot since then. Nowadays, there are many new immigrants and refugees, which has also changed the job market. I’ve noticed that many companies prefer hiring workers with student visas, because the government subsidizes part of their wages. That makes it more cost-effective for companies compared to hiring Canadian workers. I heard this directly from my former manager. As a result, some of my old colleagues now only get one or two days of work per week, while companies continue bringing in new employees.

In all my 54 years in Canada, I have never seen Canada in such a mess. People never work one day in Canada but receive pension housing and food allowance. What is going on. Make that make sense.

Immigration is a federal responsibility, not provincial and Canada should remain a welcoming country to all immigrants imo, but, if you're here on a work or student visa, newcomers should have to prove employment, training, full-time enrollment, and residency on a quarterly basis. It would drastically limit people becoming ghosts in the system. Refugees and asylum seekers should be allowed 1 appeal only and removed immediately if their claim has been denied. A 90-day grace period should be enacted to get their paperwork and affairs in order. If you're here for a better life, steps should be taken to ensure you're actively trying to accomplish that goal until citizenship is granted. Jmho.

This is why I desperately wish there was an actual Libertarian party to vote for in elections! There is a party, but they have not gotten enough signatures to be able to run yet, I don't even know if there is an office or representative in Ontario right now! I wish! Their policies (on paper) seem great, and geared more towards a 'Canada first'/'Canadians First' approach. They touch on a lot of topics and there seem to be a lot of things they want to change! But a government is still a government, they will be motivated by money regardless of any good intentions they may have. So if and when things change, WE NEED TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE! We as the citizens have the power to change things for the better! It's just unfortunate that I see so many people getting pushed down or ignored or hated because they are speaking their mind. Remember, Canada dosen't have laws like the US, our freedoms aren't as protected nor do we have the same freedoms they do (like owning and protecting your own property, or self defense!) We as people need to start being honest and expressing things instead of being terrified of the backlash (of which there will be in these times). The only way we can make progress is by deciding to get out of our comfort zones and standing for what is right! For the freedoms and protections we deserve! To make a future worth living for us and our children! It will not be easy, but when is change ever easy? I hope that one day I won't be terrified of the thought of bringing a life into this world and country. I hope I can be stable enough to be able to give my future children a decent life. But right now? I would never want to have children, things are too unstable and I don't want to bring a child into this country and force them to live a terrible life they never asked for! I desperately want to be able to keep hoping for a better future, a better country, and people who can enjoy their lives instead of constantly worrying and stressing about everything. I hope some can consider looking into the Libertarian party as well! They may be small right now, but they seem to be wanting to right the wrongs that have occured.

Tyler you need to look into Fremont California in the Bay Area. Fremont to San Jose then even out to Brentwood/oakley. Same exact thing happening here! Thanks Michelle for bring this to our attention. Now I'm wondering what is it going to cost to find 79,000+ students so they can eventually be deported? I'm going to guess at least 1000.00 per day per person to track them down. This should be deducted from the Liberal party's salary and not the tax payers! Or better yet, seize/freeze Trudeau's bank account/pension!!!!

Just because someone belongs to a certain background doesn’t mean they represent everything shown on social media. Content like this can make others form generalized opinions, which can feel unfair and frustrating for individuals who don’t relate to those portrayals. The internet gives everyone a platform, but with that comes responsibility. Before creating content about communities, it’s important to remember that cultures are diverse and complex, and no single video can define them. At the end of the day, being respectful and human should come first. Which ethnicity you belong to , I can find 1000 flaws in your ethnicity. Just be humans . Have any of you attempted to work with C&I? I did after adopting a children. 10 years ago, it was a breeze. First (and only) visitor record, valid for 2 years, with citizenship application quickly processed and granted, and passport also procured in less than 1 year. Fast forward a few years. Now it was 1st visitor record, valid for 1 year. Prior to expiration, days spent trying to navigate a messed up website to submit required information and apply for extension to stay. Then wait for a year or more, to finally receive another visitor record that was valid for 6 months. Rinse and repeat. All for our adopted preschooler to legally remain in Canada. Finally, after 5+ years, citizenship was processed and granted.

Great start. 64% decrease in foreign students is a huge cut and definitely needed. Middle class tax cut is a step in the right direction and the $10 NSF fee is actually a huge underrated change. I’ll admit I’ve been in the situation where I forgot which day my bill is coming out and didn’t have my bank account prepared accordingly. Getting slapped with $50+ NSF fees just made it even worse. Nice to see a cap on that now as I felt like companies were abusing it.

Im just glad they are safe it must feel good as a man too finally get paid for the hard work they can do in a day. But I'm sure there is someone out there that is going to take advantage of them by paying for cheap labor.
