so why do we have 10+ immigrants living in a 2 bedroom house? on food stamps driving a new car, free medical, not paying tax. Then we are told. they pay tax? then how can they pay when they don't have a as card? they get DL and can't read or speak english? the city and states welcome them for the money they collect from the gov. but yet we have homeless vets. what BS!

So they come here on a student visa and then their family has a reason to come visit and they never go home. And we do nothing about it as per usual. Liberals are a free for all why are we even paying taxes anymore anyway? For lip service? If the conservatives aren’t going to do anything then shut up already. Quit wasting taxpayers money on this if nothing is going to happen about it.

Dont hate indians , hate those who came here illigally, we pay 8 times more tution fees as canadian pays , we goes and work in those places where its hard to survival in -40*c temperatures . So throw those who have bad intentions it could be white, black, brown . But dont hate or taget only one community because that wont solve the problem . My parents came to Canada over 30 years ago with employable skills and money to support ourselves. We go through Canadian education system, get Canadian jobs and pay Canadian taxes. We still celebrate our own heritage with food and holiday but we do them in our own house. Not sticking into people’s faces. I feel that’s how immigration should be like. Not hordes of illegals and refugees that ruins our society and cost us loads of tax payer dollars. Now with Canada being India land, I’ll have no choice but leave this country eventually, I’ll have no choice but finding a better place to retire.

Why come to Canada to go to community colleges. Because most of the schools they are attending are in strip malls. Those people should not be here. If they are not smart enough for a university entry, they are not the brain power we want. Those schools should be closed and a head count mandatory. We don't need the truck drivers or waitstaff at restaurants. The businesses that are only employing students that are from India need to be fined and held accountable. They are using government funding for their wages these are jobs that Canadians need and are rejected because the are not from India. It is racist and why should our taxes pay their wage while Canadian students are left with no jobs to help with the cost of university or housing.

It’s to prevent immigrants from being on welfare more than the citizen population, which is how it should be. Higher-skilled workers are mostly chosen to immigrate. They make good money through their skills, and are giving back to the country through paying taxes. This includes Africans, especially Christian ones. Please god, Im canadian please go back to the old immigration system where we took in actual doctors and engineers. there's also so many i cant get housing at university's because they are the number 1 priority apparently. Also Canada will pay you if you hire or have a student that is indian.

Why are you people blaming the whole community .A lot of indians came there legally , and worked hard to have a good life there . They pay taxes and don't do anything illegal. It's not enough because you can work 10 hours at 21$ make 210$ pay your tax your left maybe with 140$ pay 15% on any purchase your left with 115$ gas with the large lands we have maybe 10$ to 20$ per day because again it's just taxed insurance 500$ per month and rent 1200$ for one room with strangers. 8$ bag of chips 20$+ subway for a fkn sandwich. 10$beer like it's gold. Oh yeah and yesterday I saw eska(water) at 7.50$ plus fee for plastic bottles. Another tax bottles, cans, bags, batteries all taxes like it wasn't enough tax out there. School tax med tax first home welcome tax 5k . There's no better money then fee and tax.credit tax take your money out tax

I’m a white American recently retired at 63. There are millions here and in Canada that are / will be collecting Social Security or the Canadian Equivalent. If we want those funds to be there in the future we absolutely MUST have immigration. In my family we had 11 girls born 1994-2006. Exactly 2 of these women are moms and they have 1 kid. That’s called population collapse. Any economy to continue prospering needs a continual supply of new workers paying taxes. White people ain’t doing it. Whether it’s Indians in Canada or Hispanics in the US, we need these people. These immigrant communities also practice the principles that made America/ Canada great. Faith family and community. Anyone heard of the recent trend in America of kids in their 20s-40s want to divorce their PARENTS??? Yeah it’s a thing. I bet there’s not a whisper of that garbage in immigrant communities. I’m all for it. We need these people. And that’s the plain truth.

If immigration is judged by contribution, Indian immigrants are objectively a net positive, unlike other groups such as Somalians, Afghans etc. Indians, they work, pay taxes, and are overrepresented in high skill fields like engineering, medicine, and tech. Silicon Valley runs on Indian talent, founders, CEOs, and engineers. Remove Indian immigrants and the U.S. tech sector would take a massive hit. That’s not opinion, that’s reality.

As someone who grew up in Brampton, I don't have much to say other than its crazy that international students think they shouldn't pay more. That's literally how its like in every other country. If you don't want to pay more to study in another country, go study in your own country and immigrate later.

You know what too...If Canadians was too go to India I wouldn't be able to bring my Canadian/Caribbean Culture there..I look at it like this his your moving to another Country I'm gonna adapt to The Culture and Lifestyle..Im not gonna bring my Old Ways that I wanted to leave to a New Country and Life...I feel like its not Canadians being Racist it's that they came here and The Government and Businesses are Catering to them From Adding Specific Food Items to cater to them most Jobs are by passing others to hire them...And on top of that Canadians are dealing with Food Cost being High still and Working a Job and still not making else to live a decent Life...Seems like most people are Working to Survive and Pay Bill and don't even have enough to atlest go out and have a peace of mind and have a Social Life...There brought in all these Immigrants to The Country while The Country was basically under a Recession...And this Problem is not getting Fixed now and it seems like it's getting worst..To the point I feel like a Civil War could even break out I this don't get Fixed somehow and someway... When local college graduate 10000 graduated students then They bring 10000 temporary workers for the same field , Crazy the citizens whom graduated have no job and face disadvantage crisis for paying their student loan ,Omg But those temporary get hired instantly becuse they have full support from government but sadly the citizens who graduated local college zero support plus they get rejected instantly lol.
