And they were not the only company to do this sort of thing.

America what is our solution to this matter. How do you find the perfect balance with immigration?

There are a lot of issues around immigration. Firstly, the IRCC filters receiving low skilled people, second most of them are located on main cities and provinces, most of the country is empty and finally if you are gonna keep your traditions here, do it inside your four walls. I begin to understand why Québec is willing to be independent.

One branch of my family came to Camada in the 1600's and married a woman of First Nation origin whose people had been here for centuries. I have no problem with immigrants to Canada. They have enriched our country.

I don't know anyone who is "divided" on this issue. Many of my friends are 1st gen immigrants, a couple of them had to go back to their home country after their visa expired, they were bummed that they personally couldn't stay, but they also openly complained that the levels of immigration was unsustainable, competition for rent/jobs/healthcare too high and felt that some people would have to go back home and it happened to be them.

That numbers a joke….last I heard there was over 40,000 outstanding immigration warrants in Torona alone.

I have scored 18 out of 20. 2 or 3 question was outside of this video. 1 that I can remeber was - The Canadian Coat of Arms symbolizes __ the answer suppose to be - Canada's history, unity, and heritage, blending British, French, and distinctly Canadian symbols, with the maple leaf representing all Canadians and the shield quadrants showing England (lions), France (fleur-de-lis), Scotland (lion), and Ireland (harp). I got that one wrong. Anothe one included a true/false question with the names of poet (not the names mentioned in the video). I marked it as true but I guess it also went wrong. As an immigrant, I came to this country many years ago because I share the Canadian values. If I would like to live in India, Syria, Pakistan (no offense), I would immigrate there.

Immigration is a federal responsibility, not provincial and Canada should remain a welcoming country to all immigrants imo, but, if you're here on a work or student visa, newcomers should have to prove employment, training, full-time enrollment, and residency on a quarterly basis. It would drastically limit people becoming ghosts in the system. Refugees and asylum seekers should be allowed 1 appeal only and removed immediately if their claim has been denied. A 90-day grace period should be enacted to get their paperwork and affairs in order. If you're here for a better life, steps should be taken to ensure you're actively trying to accomplish that goal until citizenship is granted. Jmho.

Yes, the immigration is messed up now. But the infrastructure problems and housing issues were here before immigration spiked.

Economic growth has to keep up with immigration. Even a lot of AOC voters from the Bronx voted Trump in the last election after texas decided to send tens of thousands of migrants to NYC. Everybody was complaining about the spike in crime

Canadians have always tried to be polite and welcome immigrants. People came here for a peaceful safe lifestyle and future but our leaders have allowed too many too fast and overwhelmed the system. Many immigrants that have arrived now don’t want a Canadian lifestyle they want to replace it with the system they left behind. Our leaders seem to support this and want working Canadians to pay for it. This is the anger that is festering as leaders ignore our concerns

I learned several years ago during a time of unemployment that our EI centers are not for us, they are for immigrants. Not one service was for me, but if I was an immigrant, the entire world opens up including lots of financial support, they will even help you open a business. Yet we are the ones paying into it.

The United States government should be harshly criticizing Canada's immigration standards.

Canadians have not been passive. The government has a mission, allow all immigrants to enter Canada even if the citizens are totally against it.

The problem is, if the immigrants keep coming in, it would change canada so much that it ceases to be a liberal democratic country that values people's rights; it's easy enough for immigrants to "roll back" their beliefs to a previous version, if even one or two charismatic new immigrants start fomenting those beliefs. The very thing could undermine itself, so there should be tighter bordres. The people who've been there since 1979 don't have to leave.

False reporting. Canada is not divided on this issue. The majority of Canadians support reduction of immigration numbers. The country has suffered severe strains on housing, healthcare & infrastructure due to over-immigration.

I am an immigrant in Canada and these students assume their permanent residency is guaranteed after their studies but nobody was given 100% "assurance" but these students "assumed." The country does not need any more uber/skip the dishes drivers or salespersons. There is no need any more Temporary Foreign Workers until the economy improves. At the moment, the Canadian economy is in limbo.

High immigration. High housing costs. High food prices. Thank a Liberal voter.

just one point i’d like to make is the comment you made asking “native canadians” but you spoke to just non-immigrants. there are indigenous people in canada that are actually native to the land. those are the native americans.
