I have such mixed feelings watching this video and the following is just my opinion. I am an immigrant from India too and I love my country's values and culture but I also realize its drawbacks. When I came here, my immediate instinct was not to change everything to how it was back home...It was rather to learn the culture and values of Canada too (which I know is in and itself a mixture of multiple cultures). If you are reading this my fellow Indians, It is truly my most humble request to remember that you don't have have to quit your culture, but that does not mean that you make no effort or take part in involving yourself in other cultures or mock them. You have the chance to better a country that has offered YOU a better life. Please don't ruin things for other immigrants or Canadians. We are resilient, and we can choose the best of both worlds.

Now talk about the real problem. The housing issues, the big corporations taking advantage of the housing in Canada, and the companies that are exploiting temporary foreign workers by paying them low wages and taking advantage of their immigration status.

It's culture shock!. Canada does require a larger population, as many of us are now retired, but are new immigrants contributing to Canada's economy?

The immigration minister has deep roots in her parallel society, and proudly announced that her culture is other than Canadian. Fifty years ago we embraced Trudeau seniors "Multiculturalism " not knowing it would lead us here. My country is gone, beyond restoration.

Reality... community can not differentiate between an immigrant and a refugee. When you intake refugees, 826% of your capacity...this is bound to happen. They never went through all the checks a regular immigrant would. They will not contribute to your economy but will be a burden to the economy. Load on law and order is an added bonus.

Immigration not problem , i am immigrant and now Canadian citizen i used to save money, now i have no money whatever i earn go into bills. Soo much of tax. I can’t even rent a basement maybe just a room. I told everyone not to come to canada. My brother payed 40,000$ in education with single day job. So he thinking going back nothing here. And its everywhere not just in canada

Remember, most of us here in Canada are immigrants… I work a lot in Native towns throughout Québec and realized that they were here for thousands of years. Are we just scared ?

I like what the immigrant said at 12:45. In previous years, there were Government agencies in place to help immigrants settle, but what I see this time around, I doubt that happened.

wasn't it harper that opened the door by subsidizing immigrant workers wages? I still remember a woman on the news who got let go from a basic restaurant job in weyburn and replaced by an immigrant with a federally subsidized wage.

Anyone not in Canada more than twenty 20 years should be removed from positions of authority. Including, POLITICIANS, POLICE, TEACHERS, IMMIGRATION all government workers and any other role that influences our decisions, our youth and our future in CANADA. Teach them how to adapt and be Canadian. Michelle Rempell Garner dishing it out on our behalf. God grant her strength and wisdom.

This worldwide invasion will stop when laws change. Uk is having the Denmark immigration policy i hope this works if not we will improve it. And our law will get better. Things are about to change in the uk. It takes time though.

New immigrants or temporary workers they are not paying taxis and student won’t pay taxis but they benefits health cares free and they benefits social services

Because th3 government has let business hire immigrants who are subsidized by them and companies take the jobs for canadian citizens and give to them if not they have to pay higher wages to us that is needed and thats how

I hope something can be done before its too late! It breaks my heart not to see Canada as 50 years ago any more. 😢

About competing for resources : Immigrants from the known big continent countries have the advantage of huge connected families !

Canada is slow but finally on the right track...... Immigration have to be regulated/controlled to reap its benefits and keep the risk manageable.......... It should not behave like a "flood gate"
