I am an Indian and I would say Canada belongs to white people, and we should respect their social values. Canadians dont let Canada to turn into Punjab India or into any other country. Also every brown skinned is not Indians. Many Pakistani and Bangladeshi also tag themselves as Indians. I knew an indian guy from work who was convinced he was subject to racism bc he and 4 OTHER men from india went to a park at around 9pm and a lady yelled at them to shut up. ME: She prob just wanted silence my gawd. Loud speaker phones, no sense of respect for the park....like come on. Give the lady some peace. its so disrespectful... tell the truth, why have them here in the first place in give them assistant,their are no jobs,no housing for them, they put them in hotels for $200 a night, every thing is free for them ,but if you are canadian you dont qualify.if your kid is over 18 in cant find work and lives at home ,he does not qualify for assistance,he has to be living else where for 1 year, what a country we live in, refugees ,have more rights then some one living in canada their whole life,this country has gone to pot,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I used to go to high school there 10 years ago. it used to be a very pretty place, as far as urban places go. Back then it was called an Indian ghetto too, (despite the fact we still had a lot of whites and blacks in the area) but I dont dare imagine what it looks like now.

As a Canadian born Chinese guy, i couldn't agree more with the people who said they refuse to assimilate. It's honestly embarrassing for people like my parents who immigrated and assimilated properly to Canada many years ago. Same can be said about the mainland Chinese people in Vancouver. My daughter is a fully qualified for graphic Designer and yet (with thousands of $$$in student debt) cannot find a job. She actually put in her resume with an Indian name as well as in her own name. Guess which resume had a call for an interview, yes - the one with the Indian name. This is insane. I require personal health-care at home and i REFUSE TO have my Canadian worker be replaced with an immigrant from Kenya. Sorry but the Canadian worker has been here for 5 generations and then suddenly she's going to lose her house because of this situation with immigrants. If they dont assimilate to our culture, speak our official languages (French and English). Deport them all. new immigrants should only be allowed to work in construction building houses. thats it. immigrants should NOT be allowed to work in IT or any white collar jobs. immigrants should NOT be allowed to buy houses unless they build the house themselves by their own hands. immigrants should be increasing the housing supply, not decreasing it. immigrants should be required to build at least 1 house during their first year in canada, or be deported. only immigrants who have some experience working in construction can be allowed in. we should only accept young immigrants under 32, because only young people will assimilate. for those over 32 years old, must be rejected because they are too old and wont assimilate. immigrants should not be allowed into universities, theres no space and tuition is too high. only canada born canadians can attend universities. immigrants must also have a minimum net worth of $50K. their total assets of stocks, crypto, house, car, etc., must be at least $50K or deport. we dont need anymore poor immigrants!
