Trump's State of the Union address where he said that the primary role of government is to take care of their citizens. This basic role of government needs to be stated/retiterated in the HoC. It has become the opposite here. Canadian citizens are being taken for granted by the liberals. Their priority are non citizens.

I was the lawyer invited to this interview, and after reading some comments celebrating the end of the PEQ, I feel the need to clarify a few things. The people affected by this are not “abusing the system.” this was the program for people that came here legally and are working. To qualify for the PEQ, they had to be working full time, they pay taxes, they speak the language. They’re fixing our roads, keeping hospitals running, welding, machining, doing the jobs most of us take for granted every single day. The hard truth is that Canadians have stopped having enough children, and we simply don’t have enough young people with the skills to fill these roles. Yes, we absolutely should invest more in education and trade programs for our youth — my employer clients are begging young people to become mechanics, welders, skilled workers, often in the regions. Most don’t take those jobs, and even when they do, training takes two to three years. Our industries need people now, or parts of the economy will stall, and that affects all of us as Quebecers and Canadians. These workers are not asking for charity. They are already on the front lines keeping key sectors alive. Ending programs like the PEQ doesn’t punish “illegals” or “free riders”; it punishes people who are already integrated, working, and contributing to the society we all share. Also, all they are asking is for the new rules to not be applied to them retroactively, only for those coming new into the country, otherwise it is rug pulling those already here that played by the rules, and when the government does it to us we don't like, on principle of fairness, whatever you think of the numbers, too high too low, doesn't matters, it is the least we can all get behind as humans.

Say what you will but Canadians have worked and paid in CPP and paid taxes all their working lives. These migrants who walk across our border or the ones Trudeau has allowed into the country the majority of them are not sponsored by family or orginizations have never worked or paid taxes are getting the same amount as us. Is that fair?? NO

Government is encouraging to not care about Canadian culture, instead funding foreign countries culture which makes Canada to have common values as Canadian

It would have been interesting to know how many refugees / immigrants are actually on these programs. Don't worry though Canadians, they ONLY get as much as regular citizens get and "experts" say you'll be just fine!

The administrative people that are approving these applications are from India too. I am a canadian business man that tried 2 times to bring a visitor over from another country on a visit . Was declined 2 times and at the bottom of the rejection letter was signed by somone from india

I'm not shocked, the government allowed that to create chaos in immigration to convince Canadians that the only solution is to accept Digital ID. I don't believe Liberal or Conservatives, they are against each other but working for one master which is the New World Order.

I'm an Aussie who did a Working Holiday in Canada and was shocked at the level of segregation in Canadian cities. They have literal cities that cater exclusively to one ethnicity; examples include Surrey and Brampton (Indian), Richmond, Burnaby and Markham (Chinese) and Vaughan (Italian). It's really funny cos Canadians that come to Australia like to lecture us on how welcoming and mixed Canada is when Canadian society is far more segregated than ours.

I’ve got the maple syrup in my blood and I speak on 95.69% Canadians we are ok with immigrantion to a point, not mass immigration. Let our teens have a chance at getting a job in the fast food(companies have to pay full price per hour)

Why is IT that you don't show videos showing people being loaded onto planes taking off with these people loaded on them ?? It's not the fault of Canadian Taxpayers that these people arrived in this Country unsecured..

If old immigrants are seeing an issue of offsetting the harmony that's our multiculturalism, including old Canadians and original Native Canadians. By the mass immigration policies, bringing/favouring from one country. Then you know there's a problem. The end was great. But it lacked lto visualize what I've been saying for years : We leave the bad stuff behind. We share and teach others our cultural aspects. We're not supposed to bring the bad, the reason why we left, with us.

Employers should be aware of SINs before hiring people. I am also an immigrant, but my dad worked hard as a skilled worker to bring us here to Canada. I pay my duly taxes monthly and yearly. So I find it unfair when people work under the table. However, I've noticed that some students, who never attend their classes, end up in high positions with well-paying jobs at big companies. Meanwhile, I can't count how many refugees and immigrants are in low-income brackets, receiving 100% coverage for their medication and a monthly allowance from the government. In contrast, Canadian senior citizens still have to pay 20-30% of their medication costs and don't get the same privileges when it comes to their essentials. It frustrates me that the government makes our senior citizens suffer at retirement age, even after they've worked so hard for so many years. Yet they still struggle to pay for their own medication and necessities. I've encountered many rude refugees and people on income support from other countries who feel entitled to special treatment just because they are under government programs. Ironically, some of them come wearing luxury clothes and bags—like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. As I said, I am an immigrant too, but my heart goes out to those who have fully earned the support and benefits they deserve.

Who's responsible for this mess? Do we even have number of people living here without status? Asking to Canadian over 50 years old who didn't vote for change!

You mean “New” Canadians? There are far bigger issues for tax payers to worry about than what we call the newest Canadians amongst us. No doubt systems can be abused, but, there are far bigger, home grown issues that are more expensive, much more normalised and ignored, than what the cost is for helping new Canadians avoid starvation and dying of exposure.

I am an Indo-canadian who migrated from UAE 2 decades ago. Came thro proper channel of PR and became a citizen 4 yrs later. Qualified as a CPA burning the midnight oil, raised 2 kids thro Univ who are employed now. Trudeau, to be in power, joined hands with Jagmeet Singh. I know of a 2 shutter shop in Brampton East, registered as a college, which issued 4000 student visas. I wonder whether the Immigration dept checked on the college before issuing the visas. Now, we have students, whose visas have expired, whose families in India have mortgaged everything (primarily from Punjab, Haryana & Gujarat) who are here working for cash. I think we must revisit the files, track them out, see their educational background and give them opportunites. Indian origin folks must also educate their families back home on reality. With a growth rate of 7% + India is the country to be in, for these youngsters, to grow in life

Educational Grant and loans should only be allowed for canadian citizens only.

Excellent video my friend! I am first Nations. Aboriginal. My family has been in Canada for approximately 500 to 700 generations give or take. Which is about 5000 or 10,000 years. I am Inuit. I believe that it will get to a point where Canadians will not be passive anymore. There is going to be a breaking point and I don't know when that will be. But I do believe Canadians are strong enough and they will not allow it to get to a certain point after that breaking point. I can already see the tensions happening. I can already see the uneasiness of Canadians and it's bound to hit a boiling point. Just in the past 10 years I have watched my country morph into something that's almost unrecognizable.

So how much 28k canadians were contributing in economy compared to half million indians. You will have answers.

From the UK, learning about the same problems our Canadian brothers face is sad but interesting. Its almost refreshing to see the patterns and that I'm not crazy , but its very sad all the same. Sending many blessings x
