Canada and it's citizens are AMAZING for all the programs that help facilitate this. Canada's food banks are the most generous in the entire world. Come one, come all - Canada will give you free health insurance and better than basic income, just claim refugee. It'll take years to progress. Canada will also give interest free loans while you're here. Most just pool up their funds and buy businesses outright. There is simply no reason why not to leave America and go to Canada.

I am sympathic to refuge claims but there is a limit on how many refuges can be absorbed into any country in a year …..

I used to watch Tyler for on-the-ground curiosity, but the tone has clearly shifted post-2024. Earlier videos observed problems; recent ones assign blame by implication. Extreme claims go unchallenged, anecdotes replace data, and editing clusters the most inflammatory voices to suggest consensus. That’s not neutral documentation that’s narrative framing. Silence isn’t objectivity, it’s an editorial choice.

3 million Visas are about to expire. These people will just leave? They will apply for refugee status or asylum claims, which takes another 4 years to get a hearing? The taxpayers pay for housing and benefits?

So what incentive do they get to work, or what about the ones that never will work Also worth noting is most of these claims won't be heard for over 10 years with the back log they have

Here , I pay taxes ,hige taxes ,and it's ok if it goes to the right person or branch of the government. Please investigate those who claim single mother status and those who are on welfare , having nice cars on welfare? 🤔

Refuge's claim should be deemed recevable only if made outside the canadian territory. In an other country, in a canadian embassy.

One fix would be to not let TFW or student visas that are denied renewal to claim asylum.

Curious what experts say "they will give back more to Canada then they will cost in the beginning"? I would like to see some facts to back up that claim and how long that would take.

This immigration rule is not being enforced the way the government claims. IRCC is still handing out temporary resident visas—student visas, visitor visas, and visitor visa extensions—too easily. They’re approving 1-year visitor extensions, then another 6 months, and sometimes even another full year if someone applies again. How is that stricter than before? It’s not. The government is misleading Canadians when it says immigration rules are tightening. In reality, it’s becoming more lenient, and it’s frustrating for those of us who follow the rules, pay taxes, and contribute honestly to this country.
