What's it about? It's about money. It's about a gangster family in the Whitehouse, and oligarchs in the administration, all trying to make as much money as possible. There's no other explanation possible. That's the only explanation that comes close to making any sense. Now more than ever, even if these tariffs are short-lived, Canada needs to move away from U.S. trade. This is necessary for the long term survival and prosperity of Canada. We need to make every effort to increase trade with the pacific rim, Europe and South America. There may be some short-term pain, but it has to happen. Given the events of the last few years in the U.S., Canadians have to realize that things can get even worse, and will likely never be the same. There is very little reason to believe that the ties Canada has had with the U.S. will ever be what they were, or indeed any reason to believe that that is even desirable now.
Critiques US trade policy and tariffs, advocates for Canada to diversify trade away from the US, with comparative framing of US-Canada relations.

Hello from Canada. There is no labour shortage that is entirely a lie. A vicious evil lie when so many people are unemployed. There is no divide at all. Canadians overwhelming support much tighter immigration and for people overstaying visa holders to leave when they expire. Getting a student visa obviously doed not mean you get to stay.
