My buddy is half black and half white so he’s light skinned and has straight wavy hair. Hes been sick so he went out to get food wearing a mask etc and was social distancing in Wendy’s while ordering and waiting for his food. When a white lady and her 8-10 year old son he noticed kept getting really close to him. He said excuse me in trying to keep distsnce as I have a cold and the lady turned to him told him to fuck off and go back to India ☝️ he’s Bahamian 🇧🇸 ☝️ and here is the kicker her SON is also mixed but is darker skinned than my friend and he said in that moment he saw her sons reaction was embarassed and that of being ashamed. We don’t know this woman’s life story but this is a partial snapshot of how frustrated and tired ppl are on top of toxicity ignorance and hatefulness.
Extended first-person anecdote about a racist encounter, used to illustrate broader social tensions and frustration, with implicit moral critique of discrimination.

I, an American living abroad will not be traveling to the US for the next 4 years. Instead, I will take my all my trips to Canada and support their economy with my tourist dollars. I will buy Canadian made products as much as I can when I shop in my stores in Europe.

My daughter is a fully qualified for graphic Designer and yet (with thousands of $$$in student debt) cannot find a job. She actually put in her resume with an Indian name as well as in her own name. Guess which resume had a call for an interview, yes - the one with the Indian name. This is insane. I require personal health-care at home and i REFUSE TO have my Canadian worker be replaced with an immigrant from Kenya. Sorry but the Canadian worker has been here for 5 generations and then suddenly she's going to lose her house because of this situation with immigrants. Not if have anything to do with it if and when i can. Sharia law, and other foreign practices are not respectful to Canadian culture. If they dont assimilate to our culture, speak our official languages (French and English). Deport them all. ALL OF THE IMMIGRANTS MUST BE DEPORTED, ESPECIALLY ISLAMICS, AND MUSLIMS, AS WELL AS INDIANS. These immigrants are not respectful to the host country. The muslim women wearing hijabs (veils covering their entire faces should NOT BE PERMITTED for safety reasons) must follow our culture and expose their faces. From Canada 🇨🇦 ❤❤❤
Combines personal anecdotes (daughter's job search, home care worker) with policy demands for deportation and cultural assimilation, framed around identity and national belonging.

As an immigrant... Canada/Canadian are very polite and respectful people... Its way different back home ... but what this people did to this place is disgusting... changing the norms, forcing your cutlure... Us immigrants are toxic... and I do believe its our fault why they are mad about this... people crapping all over the place... fishing without license, srinky rented houses aometimes getting destroyed, crime rate have gone high, over crowded city because immigrants grying to get as much family members as they can... Canada just gave you a chance its not a privilege its not rights... respect respect respect... you adapt not them

About 15 years ago, my sister in law wanted to bring her father here from South Africa; however, immigration said "no, because he was acriskbto the Canadian health system". They couldnt even bring him over even with the promise to pay out of pocket for healthcare should it be needed. I find it utterly disgusting that as a born Canadian citizen I can't get a job, proper healthcare and live in a culture where immigrants (not all if them do this) thumb their noses at us. These immigrants, in my opinion, have NO intention of learning the english language either. I can't figure out why some of them even bothered coming to Canada because they haven't left their crap where they came from. It is no wonder Poland is the way they are about Immigration.
Leads with personal experience of immigration rejection, then expands to broader critique of immigrant integration and comparative framing with Poland.

I remember the Boat people in the late 70's and 80s and how they were grateful and how they blended with us. This kind of immigration, illegal or not, is different and causing trouble.

This is because the Canadian government fails to attract business migrations like they did in the old days some 40 plus years ago when I migrated to Canada from abroad as a entreprenuer.
