Tyler, hi from Russia. I'm using a VPN to watch your video, but soon I won't even have that option. They're promising to shut down the internet in Russia on March 1st. Our government is doing it. We're already cut off from half the world. It's scary to live in Russia. We used to have peace, but now our country is restricting us. Goodbye, Tyler.

I feel for that lady,I'm a home owner, but not for long, I lost my job due to a back injury, I went back to school for DZ and heavy equipment tickets, graduated 7 months ago and unable to find work, I spent all my savings, in 3 years. I saved $75,000 over my 40 years, just to lose it all to the economy we live in today. I eat once every other day. I will be homeless by winter. And I see all the immigrants wearing Gucci, driving nice cars, living the life Canadians deserve. I'm ready to burn this government to the ground. I'm about to lose everything and there's nothing I can do to save my life.
First-person account of financial hardship and homelessness, contrasted with perceived immigrant prosperity, expressing desperation and anger toward the government.

3:12 THIS IS THE TRUTH. The older immigrants that helped build their communities alongside the Canadian people, were willing to assimilate, to learn, to be APART of the community, this is NO LONGER THE CASE, and hasn't been the last 8 years. Back in the day our family would stop and give lifts to pedestrians who were elderly, carrying heavy items, or it was too cold, hot, whatever it was, my parents learned this when they immigrated to Canada and assimilated within their communities, and worked hard to be able to communicate the common initiative of prosperity. If you're able to come to a new country, be able to live there without ever learning the heritage of the land you inhabit, it's a shame. I'm proud to be a Canadian, and even more proud of my Immigrant parents for working hard to achieve what they have today, Godbless Canada 🙏
Extended first-person account of family immigration experience combined with assertions about assimilation expectations and national identity.

❤came to Canada 40 years ago. I’ve lived both sides of the coin — dignity and opportunity, but also racism. Telling immigrants to ‘leave their values and cultures’ is wrong. What makes Canada strong is multiculturalism: we bring our values, humanity, and traditions, and we mix them with Canadian society. That doesn’t divide us — it makes us Canadian. Stop spreading racism by saying culture doesn’t belong here. You can be Canadian and bring your culture, that’s what multiculturalism means.❤
Draws on 40-year immigrant experience to defend multiculturalism as both lived reality and ethical principle against assimilationist critiques.
