As a 60 years old french Canadian I have all the reason to not love Trudeau, because he remind me how his father treated us, never vote for him, but today I saw a men (finally) standing up and take the lead for our country. Yes Canada is still my country and I like the way he directly adress to your president. I have so many American friends on both side( D and R ) and I hope they understand that what he said is not directly apply to United State citizen, wake up America before it s to late.

If it wasn’t for social security I would have moved to Canada a long time ago. If social security goes away what reason is there to stay in the U.S.?

I am grateful for what the US has given me up until this point but now the idiotic Trump and his idiot followers are destroying a country I have grown up to love. Its time to leave and I encourage those that can to look at leaving the US. Canada, defend your economy and align with all the other nations in the world the US is in decline and will never be the same.

As a Canadian, even though I have disagreements with our Prime Minister, he is OUR Prime Minister, and I am glad he is so clearly and strongly saying to the US government and US citizens that we are done playing around. We will pull together, as a country, and come out of this stronger. We are willing to take on short-temp pain to work towards finding new markets and diversifying our trade relationships. The Canadian economy is in a stronger position to survive and recover from a trade war than the US. The US Government in general has destroyed one of the most successful and positive economic and social partnerships in the world and neither Canadians, nor the rest of the world are going to forgive and forget.

Booked a hostel in Montreal for a last minute weekend trip - it was just like the safe house - figured it out after I arrives. There were 3 illegal African guys "staying' in the house. It was super sketchy. I did not sleep that night. It was terrifying. I had my kid with me. Never stay in a 'hostel' in Montreal!

It's getting more and more difficult to want to go on a nice trip. Between the long line ups to enter the countries, filling out paperwork, being treated like a criminal at the border it's not worth it. I can remember crossing a few years back before COVID my stomach would do flip flops waiting in the line and it should never be like that

Bruhh as an international student here in Canada who actually came here to develop a career and find a successful path, I'm honestly terrified of other immigrants who do stupid things without any repercussions because they do all the fk ups and people actually came here to have a good career and life get marginalized and targeted. It's a very terrifying situation rn.

Cree here, it’s pretty common belief that we hate Ottawa and the political class for trying colonization 2.0 from the liberals. It seriously fucked over the country with pollution, crime, and opportunities. Many reservations still don’t have running water but at least we have armed foreigners adding to the human trafficking numbers. The video shows facts, and it is sad to see people turning Canada into the country they came from (not just India). But funny how the older immigrants totally calling out the more educated and recent immigrants for being free loaders, while not realizing the young are paying for your benefits. You worked a minimum wages job and bought landed properties with lunch money, while being the core reason for the housing crises because you "don't want condos or apartments to be build in our single household areas". I had a 10 month wait before I could even get an appointment with a specialist for a WCB claim injury. Then my WCB case handler rejected my claim arbitrarily. I finally got my specialist to see me decided that I needed an MRI and I finally have a surgery for a torn medial meniscus. When I finally get the surgery I will have been off of work for a year with no compensation or treatment! A symptom of an overwhelmed population boom!
