I want to visit Canada. I'm an Irish American in Wisconsin USA

I voted against trump three times. I can’t believe the total abdication of the Republican Congress, the total corruption of the courts, and the total brainwashing of the conservative voters who have fallen into the trump cult. Real Americans stand with Canada and Ukraine. And we understand that trump is the biggest threat to American liberty since King George III.

I want out of this country, I'm watching my retirement lose money. I don't want to be in a trade war, I'm going to have to close my newly opened buisness. I did not vote for this administration, so many of us didn't. I'm sorry world.

I'm surprised how many Americans are upset with this move against Canada, from the left and right. I'm not letting Donald affect my friendships I have down in the States with friends and family.

I have always been a proud American citizen. My paternal side of my family has been traced back to the Mayflower and I have ancestors and family that have served in the Revolutionary War, the American Civil War, WWl, WWll, Vietnam, the Gulf, and Afghanistan. This country has made many mistakes and has had much shame throughout its existence for various things but this is the first time and U.S. president has turned his back on our friends and allies in favor of an evil authoritarian leader named Vladimir Putin who strokes his massive ego and gives him elusions of power and respect from Putin when in reality Putin is playing Trump like a fiddle. The New York Times was not right. Donald Trump is not a bright guy. I stand strongly with my friends in Canada ??.

I fled russia in 2008, but I could not imagine, even in my worst nightmare, that russia would catch me in 2024.

I was never a fan of Trudeau and his governments policies but today I am proud to call him my country's leader.

Im am American, but have Canadian french heritage, and many cousins in Quebec. This is the stupidest thing my country has ever done.

Sorry Canada, we Americans really had no choices in the last election and most of us stayed home. Democrats were offering nothing and Republicans were offering a rehash of 2016. The rest is history. ?

I probably have a bias because the Scottish part of my family came from the Isle of Mull to PEI. I dont know. Twice , Ive met Canadians down here in the states. And right off both times they were complete assholes to me. Not just me.but our country The one guy I tried make friendly conversation and I mentioned I was going to a race tomorrow and he goes off on America and their racing , americans and their gasoline.Liked he walk here lmao..what an asshole..just rude ..I dont feel bad for Canada one bit. Both times...ASSHOLES!

I'm a Canadian who gave our sandwiches to American's that got stuck here on 911. I love America. I hope we can get back to being there for each other.
