as a canadian, i couldn't get a job for almost a year while most jobs are taken by indians. go to any walmart, tim hortons or a&w, there is not a single white person working.

People from India who have immigrated here 15-20 years ago are saying the same thing as the rest of Canada. Its too much, and people arent assimilating.

Not just Brampton or where it’s obvious..In my college class it’s 95% Indian and even in a group project they speak Hindi not English n exclude others openly- even after the prof says not to..total imbalance n no assimilation..even for us who are immigrants but speak English n assimilate

It is absolutely wild the difference in immigration now vs pre-2015. I had a brief marriage in my early 20’s to a man that was a Turkish PR and when we had our child in 2012 - back when Kenney was minister - we were unable to get a 3 week visitor visa approved for his mother and 17 year old sister to come to Halifax from Istanbul to meet the baby because they were considered at risk for not leaving. This is despite my former MiL providing documents showing she had property, a business and an ailing husband to return to. They appealed the decision once, the result was the same and they were then told they couldn’t re-apply for a certain length of time. We ended up taking the baby there when he was a few months old as it was so much easier. Now everything’s a free for all

I worked with Lena Diab 20 years ago and am not in any way surprised by this. How she ever got elected is beyond me and the fact that she is in charge of our immigration system has me gobsmacked. Like all the other incompetent Liberals, she has to go

When I sit in meetings at my job in healthcare and I'm the only person that speaks English, and I mean these people can't make themselves understood properly, I don't give a shit anymore if its racist, our country is broken.

We have a similar crisis here in London. I myself am a British Born Indian guy, my grandfather came to London in the 50s after serving in the British Army. He worked hard, paid his taxes and integrated. Sadly the kids coming here now are uncivilised, loud, disrespectful and don't know how to integrate. Places like Hounslow, Ilford, Harrow, East Ham are just some examples of how bad the situation has become.

If PP wasn't their leader, I would've voted Conservative. PP is like Trump to me. Give me anybody but PP and i'll vote blue. PP just doesn't come off as a smart guy. He says what Canadians want to hear, but I feel he's stupider than Trump. He's Maple Trump. I was hoping the Conservatives would of gotten a new leader, a smart guy, but nope, let's put PP out their again and hope the 2nd or 3rd or 4th times the charm.

The Wonderful Canada I grew up in no longer exists. The Liberals destroyed it building their post national state.

I know some older Indians who assimilated well and made Canada better, but these new immigrants are no good. They want everything for free. My roommate is from the Philippines, but she works hard, is very clean, polite, and easy to get along with. So I'm not against immigration, but I want the people coming over to pay their own way. My mom and stepdad did that in the 80s and did well.

Thank you for this. As a single mom of 3 kids in their 20’s I am shocked with the seeming hypocrisy in our country right now. Those who have deflect and blame trump for all our problems. We need to stop blaming and start paying attention to what really matters - our own citizens who are suffering.

My country is worse not just Indian immigrants influx but also Bangladeshi, Pakistani etc. And ironically they really hate each other🤡

I have many Indian friends who came to Canada over the years. My friends’ families came here for a better life, to integrate into Canadian society, to adopt our values and have started successful businesses based on those shared values. Sadly things seem to have shifted in the past 10 years…

As a Sikh, born and raised in the US, this is an opinion I've had since this KHALISTAN stuff began. We go to Canada if we miss India, because it's basically become MINI PUNJAB LOL. Another note. The Khalistan topic is all nonsense. I don't know why SO MANY CANADIAN BORN and AMERICAN BORN SIKHS support or push for this. IF YOU PLAN TO MOVE BACK TO KHALISTAN, for sure support it. Don't push an issue you would not commit to. Plus, no foreign born would comfortably move to KHALISTAN, if it existed, due to the lack of opportunities. My parents left India for the lack of opportunities (legally). They knew Punjab has no future, since the Indian nation shrunk it's state borders, and we become a LAND LOCKED state. If this LAND LOCKED COUNTRY were to be established, everything would be ridiculously expensive, and Khalistan would be lucky to become as "successful" as EXPENSIVE Switzerland. It's illogical to support Khalistan on an economic standpoint.

I did a road trip from my home in Las Vegas to Calgary. I was shocked at the vast racial demographics in that area vs Montana.

Bahahah I went to Biztech collage and it was insane… fast track program … I was treated like the minority! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ it was like stepping in and out of 2 worlds …. Literal worlds apart when we walked into class then to my car in missasauga… not until I got off that 407 was it normal again 😂 🤷🏼‍♀️ made as many friends as possible but like you gotta get past Vaughan / North on that side before it’s normal again
