I think we have cheaper alternatives in the US. How about 50%. As long as we have 250% tariffs on American goods, I say keep going. We need reciprocal trade and need to fix the border issues also. We lose so many to the fentanyl. Canada needs to make its military contributions also. We don’t need the bs words from this bs guy. Some better leadership can still fix this but when I hear boycotts, I start checking labels also.

its not an invasion. go look at india at the situation they are in. the living conditions are horrible there, and when people look at countries, the go to big countries for jobs. ofc theres going to be a lot. not an invasion, just people trying to have a better life, and everyone hating on them for it.

I also want to add that municipal taxes are going up 7 to 8% a year because municipalities are building homeless shelter and it costs 40,000 a month to house one person in a homeless shelter!

I wonder if it’s really like in the US? Ya know blame immigrants for the strain on resources when actually it’s corporations making billions whilst not paying a living wage and whatnot. Cause billionaires need more mansions and yachts?

I honestly believe Trump wants these tariffs because the 25% tariff will go directly into government coffers and he needs money to cover the huge tax cuts he gave his cronies and the wealthy. Unfortunately, Americans will be paying this 25% tax. No winners on either side.

For any non Canadians, if you live anywhere near here, your insurance rates sky rocket to unaffordable amounts. Truly one of the worst places to be in or around.

Canada and eu has national healthcare they afford that by having the us pick up the tab

There are hardly any quality career opportunities to attract high quality immigrants from India. Those who are educated, for them salaries have increased far more than western countries in India so they are choosing to stay back. You are getting the lot who think despite lack of education, earning Dollars is easy once you migrate.

Canada doesnt have much production at home. they will be getting goods from Europe now and other countries paying on the top more then 40% just for logistical purposes . Canadians... everything will come from your own pocket. Think about it.

Americans will now stop buying Canadian Goods because there is already pressure on groceries, also, products from countries like Australia and Europe will now come flooding into the USA.

Perhaps it is time for USA citizens to sell their Canadian residential real estate.
