I’m literally going to move to Canada

As a Punjabi, I’m lowk kinda hurt by these comments

American here. I am angry this is what our leaders are doing and that this is the reality I keep waking up in. I don't agree with what Trump is doing and I stand with our allies, for democracy, and collaboration.

As an American, very sorry for all who will suffer in this. I did not vote for Trump.

I was JUST in this area. I also noticed these things. Canadians complained of the drivers, for example.

I stopped calling the OPP about abandoned boats, trailers, and 20 foot boats full to the brim with over 20 people crossing the St Lawrence, now when I see it I call US border patrol and they actually respond with an actual gun boat.

I grew up in Detroit on the American side of the Detroit River. Have always loved Canada and Canadians...who have always been kind and wonderful neighbors...sorry about this.

I am American and I am ashamed of the actions of our President.

Canadian here , until DJTrump announced 25% Tariff I supported him even I do not have right to vote, I supported his courage, His Conservative idea and His Patriotism but now I see him as derailed locomotive

Detroit here. Canada is twenty minutes from where I live. It's a wonderful country. I stand with them on this matter. One thing was incorrect though. Trump is NOT a smart guy! Not by any means. He has a low IQ, very low. And, he's a criminal too.

As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. Both countries benefited from having a good relationship and now the great US has no one willing to challenge Mr Trump on this idiotic move, America is alienating themselves from a lot of countries and regular Americans are the ones who are going to suffer from this fall-out, the rich won't be affected but regular working class folks your stress is going to get a whole lot worse and that's unfortunate. Hopefully US wises up sooner rather than later and stop blaming immigration for their problems it's poor governing and politicians that have us looking at each other as enemies rather than humans with the same struggle and issues. They have money to send annually overseas but none to improve the life of their citizens in need, that should tell you something. People that don't look like you aren't your enemies, people who try to harm you, undermine you are your enemies. People are just searching for a better life that's all, the most basic thing humans have in common, change the red tape a make things more structured and rid your country of the bad apples and welcome those willing to work, build and serve God and the country. May God help us all the beginning of Sorrows has begun ?.

In Toronto, I went grocery shopping after work and there was certainly a sense of national pride & determination in everyone there. Lots of people clustering around certain products and helping others, scanning products with apps that identify supply chains. As I went to the cashier, I dutifully returned my OJ to the store fridge and picked up some apple cider instead. To me this is more than existential, this is personal.\n\nWe will not back down; Canada shall prevail ?

I am a 72 years of female who lives in Canada with very strong American roots as I came here when I was 46 years of age. I have to say that what is happening between the United States of America and Canada breaks my heart. I have always known that Canada and United States of America worked and got along with each other all my life. Yes, my heart is broken for the Americans and the Canadiens who will suffer because of this trade war that President Trump started. Prayers for both countries.
