Some of the street cops don't take the initiative but some of them take the extra step to bring it up the chain when they find criminals living here illegally. I know from experience as my ex was abusive and a cop took the time to start the process and my ex got deported
The commenter shares a first-person account of their ex-partner's deportation experience involving law enforcement.

I just wrote my exam now! I even wrote twice because of an error with my photo ID. I got 20 in the first test and 19 in the second test. All the questions were very similar to what we have here but some where in true or false formats. I listened to Discover Canada audio and read the pdf simultaneously and then did two rounds of this practice questions. Thank you greatly

Moved to downtown Toronto, Canada on June 5th, 1970. There was no indian grocery stores until a few years later, where a Mr. Sharma opened one of the very first stores. Growing up in the heart of downtown and going to school (Ossington and Old Orchard P.S.) wasn't easy. There was quite a bit of racism in those days so my sister and I had to assimilate quickly, in which we did. We happily lived within the Portuguese and Italian communities and the rest is history!!!!
First-person account of immigrating to Toronto in 1970, experiencing racism, and successfully integrating into Canadian communities.

“I came to Canada as a 13-year-old immigrant, innocent and fresh off the boat. I’ll never forget how a white girl in my PE class would throw my clothes in the garbage and bully me just because I was different. That’s what racism looks like. So when I see videos today blaming immigrants, I know exactly how much hate that spreads. Young Indian students are dying, struggling in laundry rooms and basements, and instead of compassion we point fingers. Immigrants may need some adjustments, yes, but that’s no reason to divide or dehumanize us. Stop spreading hate — Canada is stronger when we stand together.”
Grounds argument in lived experience of immigration and racism, using personal narrative to appeal for compassion and unity.

This video says exactly what I've been saying for years. I've lived in Brampton my whole life and im 40 now so I'll tell you its changed and changed for the worse. My car has been broken into atleast 20 times in 5 years and 3 months ago a older Indian man broke into our house and was wearing my sister's clothes sleeping in her bed. He went through all our stuff and even ate food out of the fridge. So violating and frustrating living in Brampton lately. I'm so ashamed to say im from Brampton and even indian people in other towns have made fun of me for living in Brampton and telling me how bad the driving is. Lol thanks buddy. 😢
Shares lived experience in Brampton (40 years, specific crime incidents) to support claims about community decline, grounded in personal anecdotes.

For the love of god please fix this. I am an Indian immigrant here since I was 5 and a citizen since I was 12 and my husband is white and we both see the hate rising. You have flood the country with unqualified and uneducated student immigrants and it’s making the rest of us who have been here 40 years scared. Immigration should be a mechanism that is used with high level discretion and sparingly not a replacement mechanism that fuels fear, hate, repulsion. 😟
Grounds argument in lived experience as immigrant while critiquing policy and expressing fear about rising hate.

Tears just listening to this. Grandma worked as a secretary on Parliament hill for years. Hanna Cornelia Paterson. She absolutely adored Justin as a child. I'm disabled. I live off of $850 per month. That has to cover food, clothing, bills, household needs, medical, laundry, and transit. Yes, I had a working life before I became disabled so I paid into the system which I now need. I have uncovered medical needs that I can no longer meet. (Very rare solar allergy which also includes reactionsto certain lights on the visible light spectrum such as blue and white light) No vacations, no cable or internet, second hand clothing, no outings, no funds to have food delivered. I have to take the risk and use public transit which comes with medical consequences every time. I've had food poisoning three months in a row. Each month becomes harder. I feel like I'm drowning. My son can't find a job either. Canada is collapsing.
First-person account of living in poverty on disability benefits, detailing financial hardship and inability to meet basic needs, used to illustrate broader economic collapse argument.
