My supervisor has over stayed her work visa by almost a year. Says because she applied for an extension she won't get deported even though that extension won't likely be approved for another year.

I want to move to Canada

My original family originates in Miramichi (formally New Castle), New Brunswick. I still own 45 hectares in Miramichi. I was brought here by my parents. They would be so ashamed. Im an immigrant and after living for awhile in canada I noticed that Canada is not longer what it used to be, Indians hired Indians and some of them have issues either other cultures, Canada is Doomed, Im happy I left

During the Harper government my dad had a log hauling business in Alberta and British Columbia. We constantly got underbided by immigrant owned companies because the owner would be brand new immigrant who didn’t pay taxes, and got interest free loans and I believe, federal government funded subsidized immigratie employees. When that business owner had lost his immigrant privileges he sold the company to a family member that just immigrated into Canada. So yea not a perfect system by a long shot

Like Wolf said. I too, grew up with Canada almost in walking distance. Mom and dad both Canadian born. Canada was and still is a beacon of kindness, sensibility, beauty, music(!!!!) The list goes on. Persevere neighbors. Please I will pay extra for your stuff.

I ordered some electronic parts today from an American supplier. I paid my first tariffs, which amounted to about 2/3rds of the usual sales tax in additional cost.

As an Ohioan living on the Lake Erie border with Canada for 23 years, I am a best friend of your nation and your citizens! Canada is a great friend to the United States! Our President is wrong in thinking that tariffs will accomplish anything good for Americans or the world’s citizens!

I've never seen so much disdain for immigration in Canada in my 42yrs here. Now seeing our standard of living tank while we are giving benefits, food and housing for migrants for years. We pay taxes, and suffer and try not to starve.

I remember when we had a president that could speak in complete sentences without any name calling and pointing fingers at everyone else. Canada, you are doing exactly what you do when you see a bully, you stand up and fight back. As an American, I’m so embarrassed by trump’s behavior but sadly I am not surprised.
