Because the Canadian government is incompetent af 🤦🏼‍♂️

I don’t disagree that people on a student visa should go back once the visa expires. a lot of responsibility falls on IRCC and immigration/ government to actually have everything regulated and documented. IRCC is impossible to get a hold of. Applications open people apply.. they get in and then the government forgets about them… the students and work permit people once they land have no idea what is going on. No place to live.. mental health.. tons or restrictions. Don’t invite guest for a sleep over if there is not extra bed in your house. Say the guest then decides they can just sleep on floor or sofa and you keep letting it happen over and over with no boundaries but also just say that they are not welcome. So again it’s the person who invites the guest who is responsible for clear cut communication, deadlines etc

Honestly I like Trump because he is anti woke but his economic policies are downright dumb…

The Canadian Immigration System is broken....

The first problem is that no country has a long range plan: where do they want to be on 20/50/100 years. The basic economic plan is for growth but this is not sustainable. Reduced birth rates mean that immigration is needed, if only to reduce the impact of an aging population and to reduce the demands on the young adult population. This should be aimed at getting to a sustainable state but no government is planning for it. They only plan for the current electoral cycle.

Immigration is not a provincial power, it is the sole responsibility of the federal government. Therefore this referendum is an utter waste of time and money. Danielle Smith deal with the problems of your province such as Education and Healthcare! Stop creating problems!

Canada calls students to give them PGWP after finishing their educations in Canada. The students pay ultra high education and life expenses. Then, Canada says we don’t need this much skilled worker as white collar, but you can works as uber drivers or Tim Hortons workers. The reason is Canadian youths don’t want to work in those odd jobs. However, Canadian people complain about the immigrant odd workers. They think economy is bad because of those immigrants who paid thousands of dollars for education and have been working in odd jobs. This is stupidity. Canada government exploits immigrant students by making them spend thousands for education and can only provide odd jobs for most of the immigrant students who hold PGWP work visa. Then some almost-racist Canadian folks stand against immigrants who have actually been exploited.

As much as I disagree with most of Trudeau’s domestic politics I must say that this was a good address and seems to be where he is strongest. With that said though I still would not vote liberal in the next election.

Of all the tariffs Canada imposes, Canadians will never see a dime of it and our deficit, will never decrease. Trudeau is the cause for all the taxes and crimes here in Canada. He is a moron and money wasting child.

I’m Canadian and can’t stand Trudeau. Turning down that natural gas deal with Japan was a damn disgrace!

Too much empty talk, no substance. Majority of Albertans don’t agree with your point of view. Why is she wasting time and money on unnecessary referendum??? Senate is a part and parcel of Parliamentary democracy, madam. You are steering around and avoiding to fix the problems in Education, Healthcare, and green energy infrastructure. You are not sending extra money to Ottawa as you are referring to the transfer payments among provinces. The last formula was signed up by the ex Rt Hon PM Stephen Harper, who won his seat in Calgary AB.

Quite hypocritical, Canada is implementing a 26% Carbon tax increase on all goods come APRIL 1st and Carney thinks thats low. Our government has been doing this to Canadians since April 2019.

Trudeau wrecked it for sure.
